ok i have a big problem and it is DLC's they will not start but broken steel's message "lvl cap 30" and in the jefferson memorial there is a red triangle in the pureifire but the rest i had to start with a console commands and the boat for point lookout is well all red triangles but the stuff inside is is there (poster, tables, bed, ect.) and i have tried to figure it out over and over so please help me please!!!! and the stuff in my data folder is "zeta.esm, zeta main and zeta sound" for all of them.

well they are all under data and i could not download them directly so i found the files and cut and paste them over. they are clicked on in fomm and they do not appear in the fallout launcher data files so that might be a problem and that is about it

well my DLC was not working at all (would not start up) so i had to use console commands to get them to start and then i thought i will go to point lookout boat and i get there and the dock was there with a whole bunch of these red triangle things with a "!" in it and they where the boat is suposed to be and there is a bunch of stuff in the middle of the triangles (bed, table,posters, ect.) and a women on the dock that tells me about her girl but no captain and no boat so i can't go to the place and then i go to the purifier to finish the main quest and there it a other triangle inside the purifier!! What are those thing? How to fix this? Why are they there? thank you for listening to my problem and helping me if you can and sorry for posting this if this is already posted and fixed.

just like i said in the title i keep on downloading the update from live every time i try to play the game and on the internet. the patch or update will not stay at all do i download it from the nexus or what? and while i have you up here can you answer another question my fallout3 folder stuff is at C:\user\darren\desktop\download and i downloaded DLC to the default place and cut and paste the files to my data folder and the fallout 3 launcher does not find them in data files and they are in FOMM but they do not turn on and start in the game so can you help?

and what abnout all the other dlc i have

i posted this on general mod talk and just realised it so i thought coming here to post would be better. i am playing fallout 3 and i downloaded them like 3-4 days ago so i was on earlier and all of a sudden a message came on and it said broken steel loaded and lvl cap at 30 and i went every where like right on top of the alien space craft and nothing so i walked around for about 2 hours but nothing and the radio singnals never came in so i am completely confused. do i need to make a new profile or what? i posted ot before but this has more description and in the right section. really need help. bump.

lol dont bash on yourself man you just are new and need to do a lil research and you will find out how, i think. i think the console commands are actual game scripts i myself do not know a thing about scripts so i don't know but my guess is that you can't edit that. just my guess. and in the future get some selfesteam and don't bash your self there are people that bash you, you don't need to add to that and i didn't get a warm welcome but here is a WARM WELCOME and happy modding. :bunny:

ok i made a test place for me a place that had containers (6) and a door so when i started the game would "crash" it would stop dead in its tracks and a lil window would pop up and say "fallout 3 has a problem and can not run" i did accendently dupe it twice and make seperate mods on it (screwed up big time lol) so i deleted it and on the way trying to make a new one and i was woundering why that error happened and after deleting it it worked.

how do you script i have no idea at all. i want a button that make bombs all over the placce blow up and the bombs are the ones that look like megatons bomb.

its hard to tell i think the mod will work fine if you have a ok computer it looked like the recorder was messing up and the sound was up to high with the bullets so i would give it a try and if you don't like it simple delete it :banana:

First go to "data" at the top left corner (it might be in file) i cant remember. ok bud this is real simple we will start with the windows ok the big blank window is the render window it shows you the map and stuff item window it has a tree of stuff i always click "all" at the bottom and type the name of the stuff you want and the cell window it has interiors at the top put that on "wasteland" at the bottom of the list. i will tell you how to do this the way and place i do it. in the cell window under wasteland there is a list mine start with ancorageMWv go down slowly untill you get to the MegatomMainGate double click it. in the render window you can move around by holding space and moving the mouse.(make sure render window is selected!) now use the scroll on your mouse to zoom in and get kinda close to the protectatron and go into item windo with "all" selected at the top type in "weapshot" next to the tree you will see "weapcombatshotgun" click and drag it to the render window it will appear in mid-air and all you have to do is hit the "F" key and it will fall to the ground now when the curser is over the weapon when it is selected (box around it) the curser will have four arrows that means you can move it now double click it and this will pop up a window now got to edit base and there you go and make sure at the top of the window type somthing where the ID is so it does not change every combat shotgun in the game here is a link to a youtube page look at the uploads at the side and there will be a bunch of tuts YOUTUBE LINK

i myself think this is a great idea but you are going to need a team (not me) i would love to help but i am stil trying to get my stuff up and running so good luck later after i get better ill hit you up some time.

ok just download this at the link below it is FOMM (FallOut Mod Manager) and that will work the one on the ,auncher menu is buggy so just get this it will work and if not just post it didn't. ok believe me it is hard modding at first i am new at this but it gets easier. lol LINK FOMM
