Starting over from scratch? Like redownloading mods or a starting a new character? I just updated to patch 7 started a new run, new character from scratch. Now i just download everything, both from Nexus (and i use BG3MM never Vortex) and the ingame ModManager. I download stuff that is old, old and modder says it's patch 7 compatible, new stuff, stuff from ingame. No problems. As our big friend Tod Howard would say: "It just works." If you wanna play an old save, i guess it's better to stay on 6 and don't download new patch 7 updated mods. But i am no expert.

1. Revert back to patch 6. Go to steam, rigthclick BG3, properties, Beta's > patch6 and finish your game. 2. You can easily mix and match Nexus mods and Ingame mods (IGMM). I am doing a new run and am just installing everything fresh, mixing old ones, not even patch 7 updated from nexus, patch 7 from nexus AND ingame mods. So far without any major hick ups. 3. Get used to using both Nexus BG3MM and IGMM because not only will Larian not allow some mods, a lot of modders already decided never to use the IGMM. 4. Larian imo is not doing a paticular thing, its just: if you do something with the code, a lot of mods break.

Works for me just fine. Just follow the instructions in the post section. "and the author is stepping away from the mod" Are you sure about that? The first post reads: "I am undergoing major surgery at the time of the release of Patch 7. I will likely not be able to update this mod for a while when that occurs, neither will I be able to provide proper support." Did you read something else?

(Just thinking out loud, not a mod debug connaiseur) I think providing the list of mods would be a nice starting point Also just start a new game with the mods just to see if they work as intended Is there a (big) patch update between now and the save game? Also (for next time) just keep a backup of your modlist, but i guess you already figured that. BG3 can be very iffy if 1 mod is just not loaded (correctly). especially mods that bring new items in the game (is my experience).

Is this just a temporary thing? If so why not just leave it unhidden so people on old Patches can still use it? Or is it because of the recent mods vs. Larian drama? (is it maybe never coming back?) Just asking questions. Hope it comes back soon.

there is software that monitors hardware temps, also you could lower graphics settings and lock framerate (say to 30)

Hi all, first post on the forums! So my question is: What would be the easiest way to duplicate a piece of armor from a mod (let's say Basket Full of Equipment) to get one in a different slot as the other? I can duplicate items( i just conjure multiple baskets), and i can make an item go to a different slot (with some simple armor.txt editing via Modders Multitool), but now of course both duplicate items are both available for the same slot. Do i really need to make a new item using extraction, file-ID generation, putting it in a container, packing it to a new .pak etc. basically making a "mod" (.pak) myself. OR Can i just do a simple edit of a .txt or lsf/lsx file (with the Modders Multitool) and just have a slightly edited version of the BasketFullofEquipment.pak OR Something completely different? I don't have the intention to publicize it so only for my own use. All help is appreciated.

I am not searching for a specific mod, but i'd like to know if some of u guys have like a good mod-combo. So a serie of mods that work well together and give the game a better look and value without getting massive problems because of conflicting mods. I like to try lots of mods but most of the times get to a point were armor/body mods begin to conflict/clip etc. Mods i like are: Nice curved females Skimpy armors (no nudes) for self and NPC Better/more attractive faces More Hairstyles If list of good mod combo's are already out there please point me to them.
