i was able to progress, though I was impatient, rather than looking for the specific item, I used the "witchcraft" console command. and everything has been cleaned up except the quest items. Would someone be able and willing to update the mod for making quest items drop-able? the only mod for that that I saw is only updated to 1.22. Or if there is a mod that creates a separate tab for quest items all together rather than sharing the pane with "other" Better yet a mod that removes the restriction for quest items so they can be dropped,: paired with a ui change that allows us at a stash to transfer everything at once

I am late to the party with the witcher games but hopefully someone can provide assistance. So far there have been two quests that I cannot complete because the quest item bugged 'a favor for a friend' the food and wine box under the cart nor the letter on the driver did not generate and 'truth is in the stars' the quest item in the cave triggered but when I collected it the item did not generate in my inventory I have meditated, tried loading and did other quests just in case there was a prerequisite I do not know what else to try

There is another post now with a few more people that are still interested in a possible or like me would love to replace the compass, even if it was just the local map. I know hardly jack and squat about modding but if there is a way to help I will.

I have spent the last few days watching how to about modding in this game but not having much of a help I would attempt to help any way I could tho!

I do not know if it is possible or not but replacing the compass with a minimap would be the best. My first week in the game and one of my ocd things is exploring the entire map and one of the few things I have always hated about ES games is that damn compass
