Hey guys. I reeeeeeeeally need help on this. Any ideas at all?

Hey guys. This has been bugging me. I used to be able to see doors in the GECK without a problem. But recently for some reason, I haven't been able to see them which, of course, makes them very difficult to place correctly. I went to the Show/Hide Window but the Door checkmark is greyed out. Any ideas?

Well, now that I've read all this mess in this topic, the only thing I can think to do would be to get a look at the radio station myself. I've made my own station and I think I've got it down. And pkleiss, trust me on this one: scripting is totally unnecessary with radio. :-P

I don't believe you actually like this game. I believe you want another game and are looking for mods to essentially make it into a different game. Like all these people have said, Bethesda's Fallout 3 is Bethesda's Fallout 3 heavily modded or not. By the way, I'm pretty sure Bethesda is one of the few companies out there that DO know how to make GREAT RPGs considering that they have at least TWO Game of the Years under their belts. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one here who has a lot of respect for Bethesda and I'm pretty sure you are one of the very few people who don't. I guess all I'm saying is the proof is written on the wall: two GotYs, exuberant critical acclaim, millions of copies sold. Bethesda knows their stuff.

Well, like your signature says, impossible is an opinion. I found a way to change my PC's name automatically in console though it requires FOSE which is no problem because I run FOSE. I haven't looked into whether or not I do the equipping and unequipping automatically or not yet, but I'm likely just going to make my own mod to make this all happen like I want.

Sounds pretty good to me. :-P

Actually, I might be able to do that myself with a little work, but in the mean time, I'd still like to see if someone knows how I could do all this using the console.

Ok. So I have a character in Fallout who is one person when he is wearing one outfit and another when he wears another outfit (for example, Batman and Bruce Wayne). Because I'm very picky, I want to change his name everytime I change his outfit. But I want to do all of this quickly. In other words, I want to use a batch script in the console to quickly equip all of one outfit and simultaneously change the players name to the owner of that outfit. The only problem is, for whatever reason, I can only seem to use the equipitem command on items that aren't part of mods. Also, I can't seem to find a way to change the player's name without using those commands that have the little name popup where you change the name manually. I want to be able to change it completely in console. Is there a way to do all these things or am I just too wishful? Thanks is advance.

Well I think he just had a basic idea of what he wanted. I think at this point it's all in our hands. And Honeybiscuit if he/she is going to help (which I sincerely hope so).

I don't know what might be causing your problem. I personally haven't experienced anything like that. My problem was that I had too many save files and the game couldn't load the list of them quick enough on startup. Thus, I would click "Load" before the list was compiled, causing the game to freeze. Anyway, I'll get XFire and PM you my screen name. Honeybiscuit, are you in on this?

Well let's see. Email maybe? Or maybe I can just man up and get xFire? What are the benefits of it exactly anyway? It might be useful if I end up doing a lot of mods with other people. Btw, I figured it wasn't my mod freezing everything up. I just had too many savefiles. Silly me. :-P

Well, I'm about as ready as I'll ever be. I started trying to do lip-syncing which was working out pretty good until suddenly my mod started causing my game to freeze. I have no clue why, but it's not really important to me right now cause it wasn't a real mod. Just one to give lip-syncing a try. But I digress. I'm ready if you guys are. I don't have xFire and I'm not sure if I want it, but I can definitely get it if I need to. I do have MSN.

I like the idea of having someone to do navmeshing because to be quite honest, I REALLY hate navmeshing though I do it when I must. Well, I'm basically ready to get started. Finals are this week, but after that's over, I'll have all the time in the world and really, I should have some sparse time during the week.

I'm very new to the whole modding thing, but I think I have a lot of potential, especially in the building/mapping area. I'm very interested in doing this, and I'd prefer to be part of team since, as I said, I'm new to this. Anyone with me? Oh, and if someone can do lip-syncing, I can do pretty good voice acting (in my opinion).
