Unofficial Patch?
shadowhawk27 replied to RevanFanMan's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
So what about Project Mersey - The Witcher 2 Fix Pack? I thought that was as close to a patch as we can get. -
It feels like this game is dead in the water when it comes to mods.
-
I agree, I only add nude mods when there's a sex scene involved like in Mass Effect, The Witcher, or Dragon Age for that matter. Anything else that doesn't require nude mods like the 3 games i mentioned doesn't fit the bill and would look out of place.
-
If that's the case then i apologize, i ment no disrespect. I was merely quoting what was stated before and i guess i forgot to quote you on that. But i'm not missing much on this game when it comes to mods cause i only need 3 mods to continue this game and Aloy's face isn't one of them. So far i got 1 out of the 3 mods and that's Gameplay Tweaks and Cheat Menu by Nukem.

Yes, because a conspiracy is so much more likely than it taking time to figure out the games file structure, extract the graphics and mesh files, figure out the format of those, and then figuring out how to structure your mod so that the game accepts the changes. Have a little patience. Not all games are as simple to mod as Bethesda games.
-
That's fine by me because I'm not too broken up about it once I complete the 1st game and then play some other games in the mean time when other useful mods are out besides Reshades and Save files.
-
It's already out for this sequel. https://www.nexusmods.com/horizonforbiddenwest/mods/50
-
So you're saying they are following the "Capcom" Trend where they try to ban single player mods for Horizon Forbidden West? And i thought Capcom was Nutty as a fruitcake when they said they want to remove single player mods for their games.
-
The only "shield-weaver armor" mod for Zero Dawn that i use is the one that Adds 4 sockets to the outfit since it doesn't have any. That way i can make it super OP.
-
This i agree, cause all i'm seeing is reshade and game saves which is nice but not what i need at the moment and also Menu options: Entity spawning Player entity editing (inventory, faction, coordinates, components) Player camera entity editing (coordinates, components) Cheats (freecam, noclip, infinite ammo, ...) Quicksaves enabled through the "Saves" menu Access to game debug settings and logs

Well the only mods i would like to use for this sequel are Aloy White Teeth and custom Eyes (I've been using green and it some how affects npc's eyes turning them from blue to green in the 1st game), Gameplay Tweaks and Menu and No Fog of War on Map cause I like to see the whole map and there won't be any location icons displayed though. You will still need to discover the locations yourself.

I'm hoping someone will make a mod where RoboCop has this red light in the middle of his visor (which occasionally panned the whole visor) just like in that 80s cartoon. https://www.cinema-crazed.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/RoboCop-1.jpg

To be honest from what i heard, while moho25 (aka Giftfish) is very talented on the technical side but she has caused nothing but problems for the community. Her gatekeeping, while she was in charge in the community, and elitist attitude towards newcomers basically caused the community to wither away until others restored it. She flat out refuses patches with other modders, for the most part, and also refuses patches with mods she disagrees with. That's why there were no patches between her mods and Same Gender Romance for example. She's also very territorial about ideas. To her, if someone has an idea first, no one else can implement a similar idea because it is copyrighted. She got annoyed that someone had the same idea about having a Drell bodyguard for Project Variety and asked them to remove it because she had the idea first. This is why she removed her mods. She wants to have control over how ideas are implemented and when Nexus disagreed she did not take that well. I mean if it were up to me, i would gladly share my mods and ideas without resorting to being a drama Queen and that's called Creative freedom.

NPC/Follower appearance change
shadowhawk27 replied to korbass11's topic in Dragon Age: Inquisition's Discussion
Thank you, at least someone here sees the same problem as i do. I agree that it was a stupid move on Bioware's part but i see it's more on EA cause they were to ones who wanted all their games to use frostbite Engine and should have payed for an external engine or kept to the original engine that was used in Dragon Age 1 & 2. Stupid Cheapskates that EA is... -
About Bloody time!!! With this Device we can finally have the ability to mod the headmorphs for Dragon Age: Inquisition so we can give immersion, lore, and realism that it requires since Bioware did a piss poor job with the NPC and not just doing Cullen, Leliana, Josephine or any of the followers. So goodbye Ugly NPC's faces cause you will be needing a makeover when i'm through with you.

NPC/Follower appearance change
shadowhawk27 replied to korbass11's topic in Dragon Age: Inquisition's Discussion
I was merely offering my opinion. But yeah i agree with what you said about seeker armors. I think Bioware was lazy in the last 4 years when they did this game cause all they did was boring fetch quests that serves no purpose to the main game other then to waste our time. Not to mention the Boring War table with a count down. -
NPC/Follower appearance change
shadowhawk27 replied to korbass11's topic in Dragon Age: Inquisition's Discussion
I want my Inquisitor to wear the Hauberk of Gelgenig the Faithful armor from dragon age 2. I've seen NPC wear these but i'm surprised Bioware never released it as a DLC. https://uploads.bioware.ru/post-23047-024904100%201314121047.jpg -
NPC/Follower appearance change
shadowhawk27 replied to korbass11's topic in Dragon Age: Inquisition's Discussion
Well maybe not for you but myself and "other" players care about headmorphs, and seeing that i can't mod them is something i can't enjoy as well as playing the game to make it enjoyable. So stuff like texture mods and others like that are the least important to me until someone here takes a crack at the Headmorphs. -

Sorry but without the ability to mod headmorphs for this game, we can't give immersion, lore, and realism that it requires since Bioware did a piss poor job with the NPC and not just doing Cullen, Leliana and Josephine or any of your followers. We modders need to find a way to crack this blasted engine by giving NPC's headmorphs and Morrigan's Kid the same treatment. If we don't then we are just giving up way too easy. ->Headmorphs is the top priority then anything else.<- I mean who would want to play a game where you are surrounded by a bunch of Ugly Rejects from a circus or Morrigan's kid who looks like every generic kid you've seen in Dragon Age? :ermm: I certainty wouldn't because i prefer the characters to fit the lore that they are suppose to represent. Not some Hills have eyes rejects from the original 1977 movie. -

Then what's the point of modding Dragon Age: Inquisition if you can't mod NPC's headmorphs and Morrigan's Kid besides modding Cullen, Leliana and Josephine or any of your followers? Someone said Frostbite really wasn't designed for RPGs so whoever came up with the idea to use this engine for Dragon Age should have been fired long time ago. -
NPC/Follower appearance change
shadowhawk27 replied to korbass11's topic in Dragon Age: Inquisition's Discussion
I wasn't trying to put you down Nightscrawl  It's just that i'm disappointed that i can't mod the headmorphs to this game like i did in the last 2 games which why i didn't play DAI after DA2 because i can't stand the NPC's default looks and Morrigan's Kid being the worst. It's why i went back to either DAO or DA2 to mod the NPC faces there. Something this game lacks besides modding Cullen, Leliana and Josephine or any of your followers but that's about it. I really don't understand why Bioware agreed to use the frostbite engine for this game since it makes it very difficult for us modders to not work on the Headmorphs? I was inspired by Dragon Age Redesigned for DAO because of that and I think Modding is as entertaining as playing the game. I use them and I can tell you I've had so much fun trying out new mods, and seeing the wonderful talents people have but to buy Dragon Age: Inquisition where you have the limited ability to mod the game at all is just a big downer for me. I'm even more annoyed that DICE (the FB3 developer) never gave us a toolset. -

Sorry about that and i apologize for calling you a "he", i was just repeating what you told me in the past. -
NPC/Follower appearance change
shadowhawk27 replied to korbass11's topic in Dragon Age: Inquisition's Discussion
Show me proof that you can mod certain things like NPC/follower skin and hair, and even eye color cause a friend of mine named theskymoves said it was a nearly impossible endeavour... He spent almost a week or 2 trying to change one NPC's eye color - Fiona should have dark brown eyes, according to the lore - and simply could NOT locate the ebx that contains the necessary information. -

Good luck with that, i've been waiting for someone to work on the NPCs for this game for a very long time. It's why i went back to either DAO or DA2 to mod the NPC faces there.
