I agree with somethings but if your going to do a patch then you have to keep an open mind, people aren't always going to agree with you, for example in some areas i don't really agree. When you release then you should probably include options to install for example: ======Main Install====== Bug fixes/ Money economics ======Options====== Option To Install Magic Overhaul Option To Install PickPocketing Overhaul Option To Install Perk Overhaul etec. What you're saying is that, what you want isn't a "Patch" it's a full blown Overhaul which will take 6 months bare minimum. A "Patch" is where your going in and making bugfixes or small aditions to make it more "life like" or "realistic". You seem to not realize that Bethesda tried to make the game appealing to all RPG fans by allowing you to be what ever you want which is insanley hard.. No matter what someone creates or how good it is there are always going to be people who *censored* and complain, they experimented with something new allowing you to be so many other things than just one corse of charachter now i agree that there are draw backs to this. But the game has just come out, bethesda may notice this and patch it to correct it, If they don't people will eventually make an Unoffical patch fixing the over priced Magicka usage. There are also ways around this a simple apprentice hood gives you an extra 30 points of Magicka. The robes boost regeneration by 50% and that's the earlyest Mage appearal that you get... The perks continually lower magicka costs in the schools of magic allowing for more usuage of spells. Magic isn't supposed to be used with armor your going to need the bonuses from your robes, rings, hoods etec To boost your armor raiting there are spells like stone flesh that give you, what? 40 points to your armor raiting? I was just playing as a high elf mage specalization level 20 destruction mostly, and i fought a blood dragon, i ended up winning through stratagie conjuation saved me, actually it was the flame antronauch distracted it while i pumbled it with fire... My difficulty setting is on Adept... now this is just my opinion and i respect yours. ===Edit=== Magic spells should definatly be modded to a higher damage level! and so should defensive spells. ( wards and that kind )

For a race for you then get Xnieus Race Comp , For better Overall look get Quarls Texture pack and Oblivion Graphics Extender, Enviromental get Natural Enviroments, Male and Female bodys (get Both) Robets Male Body Replace either v4 or v5 and HGEC for Female, For combat get Deadly Reflex, better looking Inventory/setup then get DarNified UI and also Oblivion xp. All of this will make oblivion look 10 times better if you have a Not so good computer it might slow it down though. An AMAZING vampire mod is also Unholy Darkness you can check it out here: http://www.4drulers.com/unholydarkness/ Hope this helps! :D Kylardeath

I think you're right it could turn out quite hard to do a minigame for the magic, and it also takes away from immersion... I'm thinking in terms of xbox controller: Instead of equiping individual spells in a hand you equip the four elemental threads (dual wield) so that each trigger and shoulder button has a different element. Then you can cast different spells by pressing the buttons in different sequences. This gives 4 basic one-button spells, 12 two-button spells, 24 three-button spells and 24 four button spells. The more threads the spell has the higher level it is. the spell duration depends on holding down the buttons. For example consider a spell for flamethrower, tap it and a jet of fire shoots out your hand, hold it for a deadly area fire attack. It would make playing a mage much more dynamic as you already have every spell equipped. Also, as in the books, if you get the threads in the wrong sequence you will do a different spell. I agree number of threads should be linked to intelligence. Maybe replace the magic skills with a skill in each element so that the same spell cast by two different people will be slightly different (from a numbers pov). Btw spot on with the visuals. I was thinking that the threads could be dancing on the hands like plasmids from Bioshock/Dark Messiah, then when you cast a spell they intertwine into one string then act like normal spell. That would be sweett now, that would be an insane amount of animations so i would have to get help with that lol uhh if i do this then i might, with a first relase start off with just the power saidin, saidar and the weaves your able to make latter on i'll add in Callindor as for later depending on how many weaves il be able to make the cheodan cal of course those would be hidden EXTREAMLY well and with some bad side effects, also to add more realisim to the mod i'll add in stages to holding saidin, saidar probably 4. 1st stage you hold a quarter of how much you could hold total 2nd half of what you could 3rd three quarter and 4 full amount that would definatly help while weailding sa angreals. being able to use the sa angreals i would proabably just allow you to use all of your weaves at once. of course this wouldn't happen anytime soon after skyrim is out because i'll need to be much better with the Creation kit.

They were doing both a single player and an MMO but havent heard on either you can check IGN and type in The Wheel Of Time this pops up: http://search.ign.com/product?query=The+Wheel+Of+Time but it hasn't been updated sence 2010
-
Yeah i heard about that they said they were in production but they haven't upadated there webpage sence mid 2009, plus no news has been released about it anywhere

God damn it iv been waiting for a mod to do this but the one overhaul didn't make it to a beta iv been modding to build up my skills hoping that eventually i can start a project like this, as soon as the skyrim kit comes out im going to start learning it, hopefully i can start to make a Wheel Of Time mod and dude i know what you mean about the classes, a minigame might be SUPER hard to do i was thinking of showing the weaves sort of like this: http://static.desktopnexus.com/thumbnails/114475-bigthumbnail.jpg and each color represents an element like white = spirt, Red Fire etec it might be possible to set a cap on how much you can channel based off your intelligence for example you have an intelligence of 75 then you can only do 4 weaves or less (depending on how the attributes are configured for skyrim) im 3 quarters of the way threw Towers Of midnight the 13th book its sooooooooo good
-
Yes but you can't get that game anymore the only way to get that is by torrent and its not overly good lol. A mod where you get perks as a channeler or a blademaster in the wheel of time world would be amazing (perks leading to new weaves) and depending on how much you channel the more Saidin or saidar you can hold just like using a one handed weaopon your skill goes up that would be AMAZING!

HI I was hoping to see if people who really enjoy Robert Jodan and Brandan Sandersons Wheel Of Time series would like to make a mod for skyrim. i just wanted to put this up to see how many people would be interested. Also it depends on what the Edit Kit will be able to do.

Vampire all the way i hope you get to pick perks as a vampire or werewolf

kylardeath replied to dvdxlr12's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Eh i think il go with something like this for male: Adithol , Darindn, Moridin (doesn't matter what race) and for female: Moranra, Doriin, Tianaen Im usually for the Imperial/Nord type of player  -
Are Vampires still not confirmed in Skyrim?
kylardeath replied to SpellAndShield's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Apparently the have been confirmed now , I would love to see a system where as you progress threw your vampiric life you get perks like the skyrim leveling system, something like InHuman strength, Unholy speed etec maybe for a Finisher you could one handed pick a guy up by the throat and drain him. and then you could choose to be seductive or not. I hope that your actions as a player are known threw out the game if you a ruthless vampire that will destroy your enemies at any cost, then you should be respected and feared etec. :) Confirmation Site: http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/rpg/elderscrollsvskyrim/show_msgs.php?pid=615803&topic_id=m-1-57903639
