Just tried to load up the game with mods annnnnnnnd... Not working. Slowly rebuilding from the ground up to see what IS working but so far pretty bad...

It has to go into a steam games folder but you can make more than one if you want it in another location. Then, when you install, you need to set it to the alternate folder.

Hey all, I have the editor but, to be frank, it's making my brain bleed. I normally learn to mod a game by going through other mods but that's not really possible here and I'm having a very hard time figuring this out so if anyobne can get me started here it'd be greatly appreciated. What I want to do is change the time it takes for travel, repairs, et all. I've found (what I think are) the right folders but can't see any way to alter the values. I don't even see any values... What exactly am I looking for and how do I go about messing with them? Thanks.

Hey all. Played a long campaign with BTA but want to try the actual campaign so I made a mod folder for Battletech Extended 3025 - Commander's Edition. Looking for good mods that play nice with it which can be added. High on my list of wants: *One that let's me sprint and shoot. *Something that lets me play with the engines like BTA. *Further, general mech customization. *General cool stuff. Many thanks, AJS

No one thinks "black lives matter" means 'only black lives matter.' They mean what they mean and upping the charges because of public hysteria is why these cases often result in outright acquittals. A jury DOES NOT have the option of convicting on a lesser degree of a capital crime. The prosecution makes the case that a specific thing was, in fact, done and if they don't prove EXACTLY what they are accusing the person walks. The end. Just add a folder called "Mods" in the main game folder, manually download the mods, and put them in there. Unless there is some major difference in the files on the Epic version, which I highly doubt, it will work fine.

I would love this--plus if you could light a match on someone's face to antagonize them that would be sweet as hell.

I hope to get the chance to learn modding for this game but I have very limited time these days so here are a few ideas for anyone who wants them: *Bare Knuckle Boxing matches for cash. *Organized. multi-horse, long distance races for cash. *Safe-cracking mini-game from the Valentine bank job mission available for all safes in game. *A recruitable companion who can either accompany Arthur or be ordered to stay at camp. Would be very useful for solo train and bank heists. If voiced, plenty of dialogue can be pirated from Arthur and the gang to have conversations and make their addition fairly seamless. *Boost to the horse fence pay-out since it's so close to the default no papers stable price it's not worth doing as it stands. *Player storage trunk where you can put valuables and supplies so they don't go into your carried inventory's limited maximums. *Ability to kidnap people for ransom. *Have one of the camp woman able to act as a barber. *Ability to initiate hunting and fishing trips with fellow gang members or ask them to accompany you when you travel for extra help on solo crime sprees. *Mechanic to cheat at cards with a chance to be caught resulting in a fight or reported crime. *Access to carried gun oil in equipment wheel allowing you to clean weapons in camp. *Trelawny acting as a fence in camp when he is with the gang there.

Hey, all! Just returned to modding for KCD and can't remember where the "ico_items_401" and other item menu dds files are located. I vaguely recall I had a hellish time finding them the first time. Can anybody tell me where to locate them in t6he game folder?

Okay, I have a game bug with KCD. I've looked online and a few other people have it to but so far no one has an answer. *On starting a new game there are no perk points awarded for either normal or hardcore modes. *At first i had them for hardcore but not normal but once I deleeted my save games (hoping that might fix it) it stopped for both game types. *Varifying files does not help. *Re-installing the game does not help. *Running without mods does not help. Is anyone else experiencing this and does anyone have any ideas?

Problem resolved. Forgot about those $#@%ing tbl files...

That's next on the list. :) I'm not sure what the issue is then. I am working off the newest file versions but it just won't recognize them for some reason.

Hey All. I made a bunch of KCD mods a while ago and finally had time to update one of the--Blood and Iron Per System-Stand Alone. I used the new version of all the files and updated as I previously have but it doesn't show-up in game and I can't figure out why. *Is the Mods folder no longer a thing? It changed mine to "old mods." *I tried the old method of putting the files directly in the Data folder but that didn't work either. Has the set-up changed or something?

There are a lot of great new follower mods but they are non-standard and don't ride. I, for one, HATE using followers who won't ride horses. A CH add-on that allows you to buy additional horse call horns from the stables and give them to such NPCs would be a huge boon. They could be tied to the player's so they auto-activate when the PC uses theirs.

After some more looking into it "For the Stormcloaks" looks like a non-starter. It seems to be very buggy and breaks a lot of people's games. A shame because that was the one I was most excited about.

FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING "STEALTH UPDATES" By BETHESDA: Some people have disabled updates only to have it reset on them. If you are experiencing this make sure to disable the "cloud updates" to your save game folder. I had this happen after turning updates off (forcing me to roll the game back again manually) and turning the cloud update off seems to have prevented this from happening again. It is a check box and the bottom of the updates tab. Keeping Steam in offline mode is arguably safer but for those of us that play games which need it and/or have a lot of games that need periodically to update that isn't really viable.

Diverse Skyrim is redundant here as its functions are covered by Stormcloaks for Good Guys. I just looked over the rest of the list (I have been thinking about a similar set-up) and I suspect (don't know for sure though) that Open Civil War will have some issues with the others you list here. Could well be wrong but it's my guess from looking over the alterations listed.
