  1. I recently switched over to running two GoG installs to be pre-next-gen. I tried a downgrade on Steam, mid-playthrough, with a ton of mods and it stopped launching. I may go through the hassle of fixing my install, but I found that just moving everything over to a separate GoG install (I have one exclusively for FOLON with a hex-edited save directory) went very quickly and feels more stable. I got all my mods and CC content installed from archives, but lost the Enclave, Remnant, and Makeshift Weapons and Halloween stuff, all of which were next-gen exclusive. That's fine, I'd already finished it. The issue comes in the fact that I have a power armory 'museum' of sorts with near 200 armor variants, and the de-capitalist helmet was in there on a suit. I'd like to just port it to a new ESP, extract the archive, and then rebuild it with old-gen capability, but only have the helmet in that mod as I don't need anything else. Any potential technical issues with NIFs? That's really all I'm worried about.
  2. I think that's what I'll have to do. I looked at that solution, but was more hoping for some sort of barrier over teleportation. This is good enough though. Thanks!
  3. I opted to not use the default player house when rebuilding Sanctuary. Instead I built one in a different spot. I'm guessing it uses the actual mesh for the navmesh, because every settler and companion uses my house like their personal playground. I'd like to limit it to only Nora, who I have as a companion through a mod. Barring that I suppose I can open the mesh in CK, remove the navmesh flags, then re-export, but it would be nice to allow her into "our" house.
  4. I was searching for an answer to this and found one myself, so I thought I'd share. Double click on the door to open its properties. Click on the 3D Data tab. Change scale to something below 1.0. Both the door and the red wireframe sphere around it will get smaller. The red sphere is how close you have to be to trigger it. I assume the green sphere is the 'safe zone' after a teleport -- in other words I *think* it's so that you have to go outside the green sphere before you can trigger the teleport again.
