  1. Yea, the Monado is featured in this mod: http://www.confrerie-des-traducteurs.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?f=208&t=17037 Note: The entire page is French but if you have Google Translate or already understand French, it's pretty simple. The mod has been there since September 2013, around half a year before this tread was made.
  2. I'm looking up how to rip models and textures from the official Xenoblade iso because.. Well, laziness. Also, any good ideas on where the dungeon containing the Monado should be for the beta release of the Xenoblade mod? And I will just ignore the existence of any hate replies. Also, I'm going to be replacing the music in Skyrim with music from Xenoblade because, 100% of Xenoblade's music is just amazing. EDIT: Nevermind.. It's 11 pm and I'm bored.
  3. Have no idea what that is but let's do it. Some info on the monado can be found at xenoblade.wikia.com/wiki/Monado I would use data from the actual game.. If my game would actually run above 15 fps on my laptop's Dolphin emulator. Just another reason why I want an actual copy of the game but can't get one for a reasonable price.
  4. I agree 100% and I'm not really all that good at making mods but as I said in my last reply, I managed to find a good monado model since I'm not good at modeling 3d items myself. And I agree, this mod idea does have plenty of potential but is going to take plenty of work. Right now, I suggest we start from the bottom up, the main item of the mod, the Monado.
  5. This is a pretty amazing idea! And also, here are a few monado pictures for you guys. The Monado (Deactivated) http://www.erichschuler.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Monado-1024x371.png The Monado (Activated) http://ikusagami.info/wp/xenoblade/wp-content/blogs.dir/2/files/outfits_shulk_battlemix/LightArmor_Shulk_04.png A chart of the Strengths and Weaknesses of the Monado Arts.as used in Smash Bros 4 http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i446/TheFlameAlchemistRoy/download_zps982881e8.png So you could have many new powers while you have the Monado equipped. Each power corresponding to one of the above arts, the rest from Xenoblade Chronicles. So you could have each one entitled Monado: (Insert name of art here) so for example: Monado: Jump which increases your jump but brings your armor level down. Monado: Speed could result in you gaining extreme speed but resulting in you having low armor points and a low jump Monado: Armour could raise your armor stats up quite a bit, but you won't be able to run fast or jump high. (30-75%) Monado: Buster could allow you deal more damage. Monado: Smash could boost the strength of your unrelenting force shout, but you'll be able to get sent flying easier. Monado: Enchant could allow you to boost the attack power of your follower(s). Monado: Purge could allow you to shoot a blast that doesn't obey gravity and can go far before dissipating Monado: Cyclone could attack all enemies around you, also having a weak Unrelenting Force effect Monado: Eater could strip away positive current effects on enemies minus their natural ability Monado: Shield could create a barrier to protect you and your foes, so, a larger ward that blocks normal attacks too and also have 3 arts that are only available when fighting a dragon: Monado: Shooter could rapid fire 8 shots in quick succession Monado: Brave could allow your attacks and spells to be more powerful Monado: Heal could allow you to restore a fair amount of health all at once So there's quite a bit that can happen. Though that'd be pretty OP. So I'd have a skill tree similar to the following one I whipped up. Shaped like the monado itself and everything. You could also have mechon similar to the dwemer that appear in some new areas that you could have appear: Some of which can include: Colony 9, Colony 6, the Ether Mine, Frontier Village, and Machina Village. Sure this could be breaking the lore of Skyrim, but there are a ton of other mods that do that as well. You could even have a set of quests all leading up to you defeating the mechonis. And you can also gain skill levels for the Monado tree by defeating the Mechonis with the Monado. And other weapons will do little damage to a mechon but if they're being knocked back by the effect of unrelenting force, you can also attack them with normal weapons and it'd do the same amount of damage as though you're attacking a dwemmer enemy. So either a skill tree or a set of spellbooks scattered around Skyrim that cannot be sold and appear after making the Monado, causing the mechon to appear. Though you can't know how to forge a foreign weapon automatically so you'd need to read up on how to make it. Either that or you could have it waiting for them in a dungeon. So overall, a lot is possible with a Xenoblade Chronicles Mod. Though for now, let's just focus on the Monado. I also think I found a good Monado Model for you here.
