    Outfit Studio/Nifskope tutorials

    Looking for any good tutorials for outfit studio or nifskope for a modding reclined <ie easy to understand> person such as myself.

    Specificly looking for something to show me how to remove or add a body to a piece of armor that dont have one.

     

    Like there is a piece of armor with plates, and a mail under armor that I want to remove the mail part, but when I do it makes my body invisible in game, so im missing a step.

    Vortex issue....

    I start SE from SKSE64, I always see a window flash on my screen when game starts, I assume it's the skse, then game would start with Bathesda logo, login screen so on. When I installed Vortex, I get the quick SKSE window flash as before, then nothing.

    Even after I uninstalled vortex and re-installed NMM. FO4 and Witcher3 still load normally, as I never tried to manage those games with vortex.

     

    I have reinstalled vortex, and used the tool to migrate my mods from NMM, but this is where all the conflicts are coming, and still no game start as mentioned above.

    Vortex issue....

    OK I got Vortex to see my mods, and now it's telling me I have a lot of conflicting files, and in NMM I never had these conflicts. I ran SEEdit, and LOOT and got no warnings there. I tried MO a long time ago, and I see what looks like messages from that like "Drag to another mod" but thats over my head.

     

    Could use a hint or 5 thanks :)

     

    This does look very cool, but frustration is the suck.

    New NMM 60.11 issue?

    So I did a clean skyrim install and updated my NMM to 60.11, reinstalled mods and am having a few issues with mods that worked just fine with older version.

    I use Sexy Idle's and Victoria's Walk mods <can't remember full mod names atm, long work night. I am not getting the correct animations from them. Sexy Idle gets me no idle movement at all. Victoria's doesn't let me turn around and walk backwards. Now these worked fine last version before 60.xx. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled these a number of times, and made sure they didn't over write my skeleton still nothing.

     

    Is anyone else having this issue?

    Piperman123 - I use NMM for my mod not MO so i'm not familiar with the RaceMenus page, or the loose base scripts you mention. So not too sure what to look for in NMM. But thankyou for the help.

     

    Nozzer66 - Thankyou for your answer. I had Warpaints by Auriana installed recently, and when I shut the mod down it cleared the Racemenu warning. Thanks again.

     

    Thankyou both again for answering, this community is great help for newb modders like myself who get themselves all tangled up in the goodies, and break their games. :)

    Not sure how to fix this error... Race Menu message

    Been getting this message at log in, and I can't seem to be able to track it down.

     

    Race Menu Error(s) : Invalid RaceMenuBase script

    version detected (2) expecting (6). Please update

    your base script

    Error Codes: (2)

     

    Have tired reinstalling all my Race Menu mods and anything that says Racemenu. Even had ECE and deleted it and still getting same message.

     

    Anyone able to help, or have seen this also?

    Give me some skin...

    Hello all, looking for some advice. I'm new to Skyrim, and new to modding entirely. Been playing around with different body mods, and think I have set on the Sevenbase Bombshell look. What I am looking for is a good skin mod to smooth out my characters appearance. Have tried a few mods but am not happy with barbarian/milkdrinker. I have an athletic body mod loaded, but still not as smooth as I'd like.

     

    So if someone could point me to a good skin mod, that would help me a lot. Something that I don't need a bunch of moving files around would be awesome.
