  1. I don't know if you guys are talking just about Awakening mrh files (I've never seen those either) or the entire game, but all of the mrh files for Origin characters (every character in the game, from companions to random npc's in each area, 1324 mrh files total) can be downloaded here, if you don't have them already... http://social.bioware.com/bw_projects_file_download.php?project_file_id=1755
  2. Ah, that stinks. Thanks for the info though. I appreciate your taking the time to reply.
  3. Apologies if this has been requested before, I ran a search and didn't come up with any results. I'm looking to get the vanilla mrh files for Nathaniel & Anders from Awakenings. I need the originals, not modded this-looks-close-enough head morphs. If anyone has these that I may download, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
  4. I don't *think* so. I'm just learning this stuff myself so I could definitely be wrong but I haven't seen a way to make a .mrh file out of a .mor file in my experimentation. And I've seen alot of people request the .mrh file on some character mods, that offer a .mor download, so that's another reason why I don't think you can. But like I said, I could be wrong.
  5. you can edit one of your savegame .das files in the toolset and change it. just pick your last save, open the .das file in the toolset then click the + next to SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR, then the + next to SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR, then find SAVEGAME_OBJECT NAME. you should see your character's name in the box on the right side just click to edit it, without removing those numbers next to it. then save, overwriting the file.
  6. Do you used the "Export to local" function in morph section, isn't it? yes, under the "Export Settings" tab in the Object Inspector, set the "Export .mop file" to "False" then save your .mrh file, then "Post to Local". the .mor file should then appear here C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns\DEMO\core\override\toolsetexport if you set the "Export .mop file" to "True" it will place a .mop file in that directory instead of a .mor file
  7. nevermind, i figured it out. this topic can be deleted. sorry.
  8. i'm trying to learn a bit about modding and i've been tinkering with zevran's .mrh file and wanted to try to put my results into the game. i've tried out other zevran mods that are named em_genfl_zevran.mor and they worked perfectly to replace zevran's appearance. so far i've only been able to save my file as either a .mrh file or a .mop file. i can't figure out how to make a .mor file. can anyone tell me how to do this? thanks!
  9. Ok, I just downloaded the toolset and all I'm trying to do is make a preset for the human male that looks like Daveth since there are no mods for this. I really have no clue what I'm doing but I tried extracting hm_pre100_daveth.mor from the face.erf file and renamed it hm_cps_p02.mop and put it in my override folder, but it's not working. I get a different preset but it doesn't look like Daveth at all. I heard this was the way to do it, am I doing it wrong? I just want a Daveth preset then I'm done with this crazy toolset stuff! :wallbash: lol Can anyone help me figure this out or give me a Daveth preset, for human male, to download please?
  10. Would you mind uploading that file so I could download it? I've tried installing the toolset to try that myself but I can't even get the toolset to work.
  11. I would LOVE to have a preset for a human male that looks EXACTLY like Daveth, if possible!! I don't have the toolset, and am clueless with this modding stuff anyway but I know how to install them...so yeah. Anyone plz?
  12. oh no problem for me either bben46, i very much appreciate your help and Alexspeed's. i think maybe my graphics setting is the problem. it was on low however when i changed it to medium and checked the game there was no difference, so i closed the game and went to reset the graphics setting and it had already been reset back to low. i've tried this a few times, changing it to medium and even high but it seems it always gets set back to low. and i did save the settings in the config. i'm thinking maybe my graphics card can't handle the medium setting and that's why it keeps going back to low? my computer and graphics card is a few years old, it's a Radeon x850. i don't really know anything about graphics cards and such but was told at the time (3-4 years ago) it was a good one for games. i'm sure it's obsolete now. you guys think the card is the problem? and, maybe a little off topic, but could you guys, or anyone, recommend a really good (yet not ridiculously expensive) graphics card to run this game? thanks again guys.
  13. yes i'm talking about Dragon Age. sorry, but what is meant by "Vanilla"? and if it's the main game installation is there any way to fix it?
  14. the eyes were black even before i ever installed any mods, when i first bought the game, is that normal? i always wondered why they even had a slider for the eye color when they never change color. i only downloaded two mods for the first time tonight. one was a female face and the other was an eye color mod after i noticed the eyes weren't blue like in the face mod picture.
  15. so i've had the game for a month now and haven't really thought about it but all of the preset eye colors are black. i just downloaded some eye color mods and they're still black. any ideas on what could be wrong and/or how to fix it? thanks.
