  1. When it comes to the wiki you have to take things step by step. It is not really that detailed, but it tells you how to do something. You just have to take the knowledge after you learn it and form your own ideas, instead of their examples.

EDIT:And in my opinion it is the best guide there is for GECK, so the modding community just has to make the best of it. =] Personally, I find it to be very resourceful.

  2. Hey!

I had recently decided to create a mod that allows you to build a turret (however many you want) wherever you want, for a fee in caps.

I wanted to know if anyone could tell me how, or point me towards a guide?

I needed to know, how I would link the turret maker (or creation interface)-for rotating basicly-to an inventory item. Thus I would click the item, it would stay in my inventory, and I would now be able to spawn as many turrets as I have the caps for (was thinking 500-2500 a piece) at my selected spot.

That's really all I needed to know. =]

Unless you think it might create a ton of lag, then I would like to know how to reduce that lag? =D

    Thanks in advance!

  3. This is not technically suicide, nor is it done by monsters, but

rather the incredibly dim Imperial Legion Foresters.

I saw two going after the same deer when one accidentally hit the other,

naturally resulting in them shooting at each other until one of them died.

It was not only good entertainment, but it was early in the game and

I was able to get a nice full set of armor by looting the corpse.

So thats what that nose was for!

Skeletons are pretty bad about committing suicide on any traps around. =]

  4. I don't think the problem has to do with Windows 7. I'm using it and I'm not setup any differently then when I was on Windows XP. Make sure that those Natural Environment files are in the Data folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data).

When you open the 7z/rar file that you downloaded from a website, that contains the mod, extract/drap&drop it's contents to the Data folder, however, if all you see is a data folder in the mod file, then open that and drag&drop the contents into the Data folder.

Make sure there is no data folder in the data folder too.

And also Natural Environment doesn't have any .bsa files, and nor does the Mod Manager load them. And OOO has a esm but no bsa.

nosoulking, Windows XP didn't show file extensions more than Windows 7 does. In both versions you can have them show it by going to the Folder Options panel in Configuration Panel (in the View tab, 2nd one, if I remember correctly).

Windows 7 is quite different than XP, with Oblivion. You have to use Ring of Console, for instance. (newer computers, ~ command doesnt work)

  5. Yeah, that's why I think they're just hitting the middle beam, which spreads out pretty far on the bottom floor, and I have over 500 hours on my 360, without ever doing that. o.O And i've been through about 40 gates? So dunno.
  6. SPOILERS :3

I always found Dreamworld's test of patience highly suprising, since you never knew where to step... Also, at Applewatch, after the Dark Brotherhoods questline, it's always disturbing to see Lucien Lachance dead with his groin a huge gaping hole. o.O
