  1. Since no one seems to know how to fix this, would anyone know of an ENB that's compatible with recent ENB binaries and doesn't affect performance like most do? Actually, it doesn't even have to be compatible with a recent ENB binary. I don't care for most of the effects. The things I need are Parallax support, Anisotropic Filtering, EdgeAA and V-Sync aaaaaand ENBoost. If those can be "activated" in older ENB versions somehow (maybe there's just some line I need to put into the enbseries.ini or something?), I couldn't care less for a recent version.
  2. Heya, thanks for the help! Unfortunately the disabling of USEBLOOM didn't do anything (also, it doesn't seem to make a difference if I have bloom disabled in the enbseries.ini or not). But yeah, I've now figured out that it has to be something in the enbeffect.fx file because changing out that one with a default ENB one does remove the issue, but also the whole lighting/coloring/etc. is pretty much back to vanilla. "I would recommend upgrading to a current binary compatible binary from ENB." - Not sure if you mean the d3d9.dll file because that one IS the most recent one, 0.254 v2. I just hoped I could use the settings from that old Reimagined ENB package to use it, but it seems like it's not totally compatible. I bet it's just a matter of changing some value somewhere... I've made two screenshots to show what I'm talking about. One is normally looking straight (it's also much too dark for a sunny day but I'm hoping this might resolve with the issue) and the other one is lucking up at the sun. http://s3.postimg.org/lv1jgoa6n/Screen_Shot2.jpg http://s29.postimg.org/h2a5w0ac3/Screen_Shot3.jpg
  3. Heya guys, this whole day I've been trying out and experimenting around with different ENBs and when I pretty much gave up (on finding something that didn't kill my framerate; I've got a rather old PC) I found "Reimagined ENB" (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23035/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D23035%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D767186&pUp=1 ) Now, I really didn't want to use it because of the old ENB version it needs, which doesn't support ENBoost, Parallax and other nice new effects. So not even knowing if this was possible or would trigger the end of the world, I just only copied over some files from this ENB: enbbloom.fx, enbeffect.fx, enbeffectprepass.fx, enbpalette.bmp, enbc.bak, enbc_effect.bak, enbc_enbeffect.bak (not sure if the latter three were even necessary), keeping i.e. not overwriting the latest ENB d3d9.dll version and enbseries.ini that comes with it. And just as I hoped, it worked and I have very pretty graphics now. Indoors and nights are absolutely perfect for me now and mostly the outside, too. There's just one strange issue: When I look up into the sky, the screen gets kinda dimmed; the nearer my view gets to the sun, the darker it gets... now that I think about it I think this is actually a feature. Might be this "adaptation" thing. But it's much stronger than it should be (and makes the whole outside a little bit too dark at daytime) and even setting EnableAdaptation=false in the ini doesn't get rid of it. Does anyone have an idea what to do about that? I guess there's some variable in one of the beforementioned files (or in the enbseries.ini?) which I could change to fix this but I've got no idea which one :/ I'd be grateful for any help!
  4. Yay, that already looks like a very good basis for me to get going. Thank you very much  Ah, but here's what I meant earlier... e.g. the FPS Background Booster is from early 2012. Is it even good to use this with latest Skyrim versions? And do solutions like e.g. the FPS Background Booster and Skyrim Stuttering Fix work well together?
  5. Heya, I've finally bought Skyrim (Legendary Edition) and I have a rather old machine but I'd like to get my experience (especially visually) as good as possible with a decent framerate. Now, I know there's tons of suggestions all over the net (and these forums). However, most of it is pretty old and loosely following the modding 'progress' of this game, I've had the feeling that there have been several different solutions - especially when it comes to performance enhancements - over the time and some of them became obsolete with game patches and others with newer, better solutions. That's why I'm humbly asking here if someone would be so kind as to tell me which are the best up-to-date solutions to better my performance and which eyecandy mods are possible without killing the performance of my machine. Here are my specs: Intel Core2Quad Q6600 (running at 3200 MHz), Geforce GTX 460 OC (1GB), 2 GB RAM If someone happens to have a perfectly balanced config ini for a PC like mine, I'll gladly take that as well. I remember, back with Oblivion, I've spend more time tweaking the ini than actually playing xD Thanks in advance!
  6. @ RustyBlade: Hey, good advice, that worked! It does give you even other gifts, but I just destroyed those (I hope, you'll still be able to get them later normally?).The Flemeth's Grimoire quest could be finished now. However, since I didn't disable any mod now, will there be likely other issues later?
  7. Heya, thanks! Alright, I'll see if I can a mod to disable. However, what do you think: If I figure out the culprit and disable it, will things be fixed automatically after that or is the damage done?
  8. Heya Thandal, thanks for answering :) Phew, alright, let's see (if there's no version number, it's just the latest version available): - Dragon Age Redesigned Version 7-3 - Dialogue Tweaks - FtG UI Mod - More Readable Fonts and UI - Improved Atmosphere - Lock Bash - Leliana Your Zevran Dialog Fix - Morrigan Restoration Patch Dialog Fixpack - Extra Dog Slot - Awakening Bugfixes - Awakening Runes Fixes - Advanced Tactics - JBtextures - Awakening Blackblade Armor Dragon Drop Fix - Unobtainable item BUGFIX - Unlock All 25 Tactic Slots - Compatible with Awakening - Skip the Fade - Endgame Dialogue and Epilogue Slide Fixes - Expanded Inventory These, I doubt they could have caused the bug, but I'll name them anyway: - Plus Healing Received Fix - Golem Registry and Shapers Life Reward Fix - DAModder - Premiere DA Mod Manager - Circles Be Gone - Critical Hit Chance Quickfix - White Teeth - VigilanceFixed - Awakening Silverite Mines Bugfix - Second Drain life bug fix - Find Vitals Fix - Awakening
  9. Heya guys, I'll try to make it short: my problem is I've killed Flemeth, went into the hut, took the grimoire as well as Morrigan's robe and when I went back to the camp, I couldn't really give the grimoire to Morrigan. She even automatically started a conversation with me when I got to the camp. Actually, she's doing it every time I enter the camp now (and I fear that other situations are being kept from happening this way). There were some conversation lines with her which seemed as if I had already given her the grimoire. But it's still in my quest item list (should it even be there or rather as gift item in the normal item list?). My question is: Might there be some kind of console command or something that could tell the game I've given Morrigan the grimoire or something like that? I'm rather far into the game now and totally wouldn't want to use an ooold save game or even start the game all over again. I just hope this will not break something at the end of the game or so... Can anyone help? :)
