Just to understand how it works: Is there a specific file that calls up the textures or should it automatically pick up if there is a female texture in the female character folder, otherwise it reverts to textures.bsa?

Nope, tried that, still got blue body

I ran into a problem where it seemed that CBBE textures were being applied to UNP body. I deactivated all CBBE mods but no change. I eventually deactivated all character mods but no change. I then went to data textures actors and deleted character folder. I did the same in meshes folder. I then got blue bodies so I assumed it was not reading skyrim base textures.bsa. I then went and deactivated all mods and did a verify skyrim file from steam to no avail. I'm stumped now. Can anyone help?
