I've narrowed down the trigger for my CTD, but been clueless as to what could be causing it. Story is, when I kill a creature with Soul Trap on it, and I have a soul gem in my inventory, the game will CTD. If I don't have a soul gem, I just get the normal "no soul gem large enough to contain this soul" kinda message. I have discovered, that if I remove every soul gem and azura's star from my inventory, then put them back into my inventory, then the next soul trap kill I perform does work. Once. Then I will CTD every time after that, until I repeat the step of removing all soul gems and then picking them back up. This problem is cross-save and cross-gamestart (meaning if I clear my inventory, save, then kill a soul trapped creature it works, but if I load that save up, it won't work unless I do that trick, same with restarting the game, its like the game remembers regardless of which save or play). I tested this with Azura's star (I also crashed without it so its not Azura's Star itself making the problems). If after every soul trap with the star, I dropped it on the ground and picked it back up, I could soul trap kill creatures repeatedly, but the instance I tried to soul trap twice in a row without dropping the star, then CTD. I can't be bothered to drop EVERY soul gem everytime I trap to reset it, any idea what could be causing this? Here are the mods I have loaded thru WyreBash: Help would be super appreciated!
