How can I change esp files to esm files?

My problem: For my mod i need a pipboy-image from the original fallount nv data files but the problem is i can't use any of them because i'm not even seeing one of the files. even though i have set the option in the folderoptions of the systemoptions to "see all data files and folder" Can anybody help me or tell me where this problem is coming from? ..sry for my bad english :P
