well i found my solution: i went back in my saves until the area wouldnt crash and it was quite far back im guessing installing then uninstalling nmc textures and flora overhaul messed up my game irreversibly, im gonna start a new save anyways now that i know what mods i want to keep.

Whenever I go near the riverboat or the edge of the Jefferson memorial my game instantly crashes every single time, forcing me to ctrnl alt delete. I have tried many crash fixes but none have helped, my game works perfectly besides the fact i have no possible way of reaching point lookout. I did a bit of adventuring in point lookout before and everything worked fine it was only until i started waters of life and walked back with dad did the area start crashing. at first i thought it was only the memorial https://www.reddit.com/r/fo3/comments/51jdjr/game_always_crashes_near_the_jefferson_memorial/ until i wanted to fast travel to the riverboat( which crashed my game) and any attempts to revisit my favorite areas of the game result in crashes with no warning usually hard to crl alt delete out of because i cant leave the fallout window. I disabled all mods and same (worst) crashing i have been unable to pinpoint what mod casued this error.

Playing a lot of Fallout 4 then switching back and forth to 3 made me think that the capital wastelands vanilla creatures are pretty repetitive (too many radscorpions), it would be really cool and lore friendly to see bloodbugs, super mutant hounds, radstags and stingwings added to fallout 3 as theres no reason any of these creatures from Boston would'nt be in D.C. Point lookout seems as it should be infested with Bloodbugs and Stingwings and super mutants could use some real gaurd dogs instead of the hideus cerberus, anyways just my thoughts i dont know if many mods are still being made for this game but i would also love to see more creatures from other fallouts in the game somehow
