  1. So I recently installed a large batch of mods, and now my main menu won't load. It will pass the splash screens (Bethesda and Obsidian logo, and the "Please Wait" screen), then it just shows the background of the menu (NCR Ranger in front of New Vegas sign) without any of the menu options. Here is my load order. I've tried messing around with the ini files and resetting them to default and disabling the UI mod, as well as changing the load order around and disabling a few other mods, but I keep having the same issue every time.

Can anyone help, or should I just reinstall the game?

  2. Ok, thanks for the answers. I was able to get the life of my guns pretty high up, so that shouldn't be a problem. The wander doesn't really matter much, I'm not using the sniper anymore. And I was able to get my weapon automatic, although the animation should be toyed with...

EDIT: Also, I tried to make the health incredibly huge (Around 999999999999) and when I tried playing it said that is had no life yet the bar was full. When I went back to check the weapon, it had a life of zero :O

I think you overflowed it, since the highest it can go is (most likely) 65535, since that's the highest you can go with a regular floating point number.

  3. So, I was considering making some weapons as a starting mod, and I was wonder if there was a way to modify the damage multiplier setting for melee weapons (fDamageWeaponMult) whenever I attack.

basically, I need to know a way to activate a script on strike, and I really don't like the layout of the GECK wiki and wouldn't know where to start looking for it.

Okay, so I got a script that should work, only whenever I try to save the script, the GECK says this:

    "SCRIPTS: Script 'WeapScript', line 7:

    Invalid variable name 'fDamageWeaponMult'.

    Compiled Script not saved!

So, I was wondering, how do I get it to let me declare and edit global game setting variables?
