  1. I see your point but I am not smart like Einstein unfortunately so I must take extra measures to catch people's attention.
  2. I already have that one but thank you. It adds 64 backstories but I wish someone would add more. I guess I'm just greedy.
  3. Did you ever do those interactive book things when you were a kid where you'd have the backbone of a story already written out but there were blanks you had to fill in with whatever word you wanted, within certain parameters like 'adjective' or 'weapon', often with hilarious (and vulgar) results? What if some brilliant mod maker person were to create some type of algorithm that made it so an xcom operative's past occupation of grand theft auto wasn't always restricted to ramming advent towers? What if sometimes he or she rammed advent strip clubs? Or puppies? Or what if they came from ANY other militia group not called The Warriors (how f***ing original)? Just imagine the possibilities... I might even pay you money to make this happen...
  4. 2 years later... someone really needs to do this.
  5. I'd like to make a mod where consuming skooma activates some nice bloomy ENB visual effects. I haven't really modded before so I'm wondering how complicated it would be to make this work. Thoughts?
  6. I sort of already posted this in the Mod Talk forum but didn't get any replies. I'm not reposting this to be pushy... I'm doing it because this forum seems to get more activity and I should've posted it here to begin with. So yeah, what I want is a mod that turns off the GPS thing on the world map that shows you where Jason is at all times in the game. My friend thinks I'm retarded for wanting to play the game like this, but I'm trying to prove to him (and myself) that I can use just land nav skills and smarts to find my way around. Besides I like having the ability to get totally lost in my sandbox games. It makes em feel big and scary. You know how on the map legend screen it lets you toggle on/off most of the map icons, but not the Jason Brody icon (and a couple others that I can't remember) for some dickish reason? I'm thinking that if I just made some tweaks in the hex editor it would solve this issue, but I have trouble deciphering all those crazyass letters and symbols. If none of you fine people can be bothered to make such a mod for me, then I would greatly appreciate any tips and advice that would enable me to do it myself.
  7. I've been looking for a mod that removes the GPS thingy on the map that always tells you where you are in the game. Does such a mod exist? If not, would one be terribly hard to make? I'm looking at the game's code with a hex editor right now but I don't know which parts of it govern the map icons.
