is Honest Hearts anti-mormon?
Gashjackel replied to jeremiahbelt's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Spoilers
Well generally the mormons presented in the DLC are oddities in my experience with their kind. They're actually decent, stand up folks who aren't constantly trying to "save your soul". Joshua sky rocketed to the position of my all time favourite fictional religious guy purely by pulling off religious badass so well. Overall though the DLC was a bit disappointing as it felt like they put more effort into the environment than they did the actual questline. -
somewhere where there is nothing. What was silicon valley like before computer startups turned into an industry hub?

I'd be interested helping out as a plot writer guy. I'm not much use at modding but I'm not a bad writer. -
Honestly? The texture work on the courier 6 armour is just a bit too...haphazard.

How about an east coast enclave survivor armour? Fallout 3 Enclave PA with a bunch of scrap metal bolted on along with some other mods and pouches for stuff
-
Would be nice to have some pouches or something added to power armours at least.

To be honest this does sound good. You could get a team together and make it on par with a DLC. Player goes off in search of a supposedly lost city with all its high tech goodies left untouched. Something happens which leaves the player minus his equipment trapped in the city but its full of ghouls (slower ones but lots of them or tougher?). Player then has to scrounge up some gear to survive and make his way to some survivor who managed to contact him through his pipboy or random tv screens or something? After that it's a fight to get some more gear so you and the survivor can escape the city.

It's been done before but it never really works right. -

I would be interested in the first iron man suit from the movie. You know the one made in a cave from a box of scraps

Nah I'm trying to remove the addons from the Pitt tribal armour so I can wear them over other t-45d based armours as a seperate item. But I want to remove all the skulls and such.
-
So no help other than a link to a guide that doesn't tell me what I need to know?
-
Well having gone through that guide I was not at all surprised to find it didn't tell me what I wanted to know.
-
I don't really want to pore through a guide for a few hours to try and find out how to do one thing
-
Ok so how would I do it in blender?
-
Right now I'm trying to edit the tribal power armour from the pitt DLC for my own use. Pretty much what I want to do is remove the skulls from it so. This includes the brahmin skull and its hooks and the skull on the crotch. While in NIFskope I can remove the brahmin skull with ease the hooks for it and the crotch skull all seem to be part of the same object which everything I want from that armour is a part of. How can I remove them without loosing the bits I want?
-
I'd make this stuff myself but I can't make heads or tails of blender.
-
Neat. Did anyone actually make the stuff?
-
link?

Seriously why haven't we seen anything like this yet?

tried porting over the robco certified mechanist power armour. It's a step in the right direction but honestly it's not one hundred percent what I wanted.
-
Ashur had some good armour for this. But the bones and such make it a bad option to port over I have found. Even the T51b version that someone made in F3 didn't look quite right. Mostly the brahmin skull shoulderpad

I want to see some really junkyard relic power armour. Some power armour that has been put back together by a wastelander with string, scrap and duct tape. I want some power armour that looks like it would fall apart if you thought too hard about how it stays together. I want some power armour that actually looks like its been left to rot for two hundred years before being found and repaired. Will no armour maker hear my plea?
-
So yeah. I've asked for this before but nothing ever came of it. I'd like to see some power armour that actually looks like it belongs to scavenger in a post apocalyptic wasteland. I'm talking mismatched bits, pouches, tools and a generally cobbled together appearance. Probably using the NCR heavy armours backpack. Why has this never been done?
