  1. It's a turn based game with fixed distance for movement there is no point to make sneaky characters to move so slow i'm not asking too buff the distance can be travelled but just the to have a faster animation

I'm looking for a mod that tells me what to do to complete the game (talk to this guy, the object you look for is here, use spirit vision here, etc etc) because i don't want to waste time again on the story, but i want the challenge of hard fights Do you know if there is something that can help me?
  3. Hello How can i edit Cost/Cooldown/Damage values? i downloaded a mod that contains a fbproect files. I managed to edit some very basic things like position of the icons of the ability trees or to remove some upgrades that that mod was introducing I thought i could recognize Cost/Cooldown/Damage just watching the numbers but i can't see the right ones. in abilitydamage i see 1 or -1.....i think this can be the damage type, certanly not the amount of damage. i'm using frosty editor
  4. i sarted a new game recently,after years from my last one. I wanted to play a tank but it's really boring because he's so weak I was thinking about 3 changes that could be made. Mybe just even one of these 3 would be enough. The things to change are simple but i don't know how to do it 1) Change base attacking speed of the 3 styles. DW still 1.5 same as S&S (tank) down from 2,and 2 for 2 handed (down from 2.5) I tried changing the weaponmodifier but the problem is that if you make longswords,maces,axes faster,a DW warrior becomes more OP than how it is already. 2) Constitution gives 15 HP per point,up from 5. So maybe the tank has 1/4 of the dps compared to a DW warrior but i would have 2x HP 3) Heavy and massive armor should need a requirement of constitution too. Massive armor needs only 42 streght so DW Warrior can use the same armors that a Tank can use
  5. Yep. You can append the file name, though IIRC there is a character limit for that. And I'm not sure what the standards for moddiing DA2 are, but for DAO it is best to only include in the GDA the lines that have been edited, to minimise the likelihood of conflicts. yes yes i removed all other lines and maybe i can remove also the columns
  6. omg i found out the problem it seems i can't rename the files,at least not full rename I have to leave ABI_XXXXX.gda
  7. yes i'm using GDApp I already did these things,even more deep,for Dragon Age 2 when i played that game i moved talents from one tree to another. Changing upkeep cost is just change that 50 to 70 but it doesn't work i have already created a gda file to fasten atttack speed of 2h weapons. i changed the value on the delay and it works. but the changes on dual striking doesn't work
  8. i was just trying to edit small things here and there. Since dual striking seems OP to me i wanted to change cost upkeed and prerequisites. All things i find in the abi.gda i tried to edit that file but nothing worked. can someone help?
  9. I went in the "saved games" section. I know they are not really mods but they are here so.... 99% of the times,titles don't explain which class and spec that mod is about,and i honestly i don't have time to read 266 descriptions... Someone got a Reaver from saved games? Full game saves so i can decide where i want to start my game thanks Spec Human or elf (not dwarf/qunari) Female pref but not necessary
  10. this should be easy for those who know how to do mods. I don't want anything OP just a chane to how mana works in DAI. 1) More base mana (200) 2) Less base regeneration (halved) 3) Add 50 flat mana picking £Strenght of Spirits"

HI all I would like to make minor changes to some ability i consider underpowered Since i don't want to use toolset to do big changes it would be enought to edit cooldowns,costs,upkeeps. i saw i can edit a file a i found most of the things i was searching for,but: 1-the file i was editing was from a mod so i don't really know how to extract the full ABI_base.gda.....where do i find it? i already did this job for DA2 using gffeditor and then gdapp to edit files but i don't know where i must search to extract the file for DAO 2-i couldn't find the stamina/mana penalty regeneration in the file...i just found the flat cost (activating or sustained) Hope someone can help me
  12. yes.....thay would be much more useful sometimes some talents or spells are only a waste of stamina/mana,because the enmey is going to die i hope in DA2 tactics are better than in DAO
  13. A question about tactics.... If i want a mage to cast "winter's grasp"(or anything else) to an enemy who is elite (or more) but only if he has 50% health (or more)....is it possible?
  14. I installed the toolset to balance some talents.....in my opinion there are specializations much weaker than others so i want to make them nice too. I tried to follow http://www.dragonagenexus.com/articles/article.php?id=14 to understand how it works and it was simple......my fireball did more than 1000 fire damage on a poor bear :-) But then i tried the same thing on a talet (powerful swings) but it didn't work Just to try i put -5 on attack and defense (instead of -10) leaving two-handed strenght as default....so my warrior shouldn' suffer any penalty when powerful swings is activated......but it didn't work Which is the difference between editing spells and talents?? do i have to to something else? Thanks
  15. 100 Physical resistence should let you to be immune to freeze,stun and block...isn't it? My PG has 100 (and more) but sometimes it happens one of those 3 things above......
  16. It would be nice if you could do it but some time ago i asked such a thing about Arcane Warrior (show attack insted of spell power on the sheet) and someone told me that modders can't modify appearence. I hope he was wrong
  17. A little change for the ice bomb.... If all the ice spells can freeze the enemies....why can't the bomb do it?? :-) Is it possible to add a chance to freeze the enemies?

The mighty Katana from BG2 Since it had +3 thac0 Chance to stun Chance to add 20 more damges I think the extra stats could be: +9 Attack (thac0 is calculated on 20 so it must be me much more than +3 25% chance of paralysis 10% chance to add 30 more damages (or +2 permanent to damage) 3 rune slots i saw mods with much more powerful longswords but i prefer to have a normal one....
  19. I prefer passive abilities too! Another useful thing could be (for area spells): At the third grade,instead of increasing damage,the spell hit only the enemies (like the most powerful area spells in BG2)
  20. i have a bug that doesn't let me to go on in the game.i don't think there is a solution but i have nothing to lose asking here..... 1) is there trick to teleport the group? in BG2 we could use ctrl+j 2)is there a way to make the game think we have finished a quest even if it's not true?
  21. Yes it's possible for bows,for Armors i don't know I installed a mod that adds rune slots to bows (this is only a very little feature of the mod)
  22. I reecently have installed a couple of mods that adds better decriptions of spells,objects,gifts etc.... Now i can read how spells work and i noticed a thing about Magic in combat (first spell of Arcan warrior) the description says that using this ability we accept 50% fatigue to gain an attack bonus (5+SP*0.2) etc etc..... So for an Arcane Warrior SpellPower is not the Same of Attack! Is it possible to display SpellPower when using rods ad Attack when using swords? I could waer something that increase attack but i can't see it. Sorry it's not easy to explain in English :whistling:
