in case anyone checks this, otis_inf suggested rolling reshade back a version and it fixed it, except now some of my presets don't work correctly so they're trying to figure out why the current version of reshade is messing it up.

I updated everything for patch 7: my game, my mods, reshade, the camera the add-ons everything. Now when I go to take a screenshot I turn on my reshade effects, have the camera on, set up my shot, tic "igcs" everything is fine. But when I go over to the tab to start a depth of field session as soon as I click it the tab starts to flicker horribly and I'm unable to even disable it. I can toggle off the reshade effects but it still seems to leave me unable to get out of the camera properly the only way I can fix it is to exit out of the game entirely. I've tried re-updating ICGS to no avail and idk what else to try google is no help trying to find anyone else who has had a similar issue.

yeah there's for sure some rude as heck people who put way too much stress on modders to get their updates out cus they don't know not to update their game right away. also just need to accept that by modding your game you're gonna mess it up at least once.

1. this is in no way getting people behind modders it's just confusing them and making them annoyed at the modders 2. pretty sure a bunch of people complaining that modders are punishing the players for their demands is just gonna make Larian more defensive? like this isn't a strike in which employees of a workforce are demanding better rights or pay or something, this is a FANBASE making FANMADE CONTENT demanding inside knowledge on the development process of a game studio to better suit what they do. it's like if fanfic writers demanded authors gave them their drafts. now i do think it's fair of all players to want more quality control in patch/hotfix testing before releases cus tbh it has been a little insane in that front.

I'm having the same issue too. After the crash on the beach I just get an infinite loading screen and the game is unresponsive. I tried lowering my graphic settings as low as possible and nothing helped. I'm using the same mods as before the hotfix 19 and it didn't break until hotfix 19 (I had started another game before hotfix19 and it ran fine).
