It's no matter. I figured out what I was doing wrong- all I had to do was take the files out of the folder, something I did not realize. But thank you.

While I just got into the modding scene in Fallout 3, I downloaded the Space Marine armor mod here: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4651 After downloading, I followed the directions on the installation of mods here: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/articles/article.php?id=43 I have followed each statement to the letter. I have "ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated" unzipped into the Fallout 3 folder, and I tried adding the files from the Space Marine armor mod into the data folder. Nothing worked. In fact, nothing even appeared in the "Data Files" button in the startup menu. Can anyone help a poor newb?

Doom, probably. The simple fact that any FPS made after it was called a "Doom clone" no matter what certifies it's legacy. If not, the still extremely-active modding community does.
