[DL speed never going over 2.7Mb/s]

Vortex version 1.4.16.

 

Hello.

I've bought premium, hoping to be able to download bigger mods faster, but so far no download go over 2.7Mb/s. I've set unlimited bandwidth in the settings, and my usual download speed (at least on steam) is around 55-60mb/s.

I'd like to know if there are ways to increase that speed, so I can use that premium fully.

While happy this was removed, I hate to think about the negative impact this had on some modders. Can't really blame someone for trying to make some money, but some got ripped to shreds on here.

 

It's not putting their mods on the workshop that was wrong, it's the attitude of some of them. I won't say any name, but some of them were vains and despising toward the community, and i hated that.

 

Both sides, Boycotters and Workshoppers, hold blame. War ain't pretty, and we lost a lot. Now we need to lick our wounds, build our community up, and be ever vigilant for another attempt to sell mods. Valve said they were going to consider other games to do this on.

 

 

To be honest, i didn't appreciate their attitude, but that won't stop me from liking, using and endorsing their works, and even donating, if i can. Being poor sucks.

[Any way to restart a quest from the beginning?]

Hi everyone, i could use some help.

 

So, i joined the stormcloaks, I do the 1st quest (kill the ice spirit) and come back to report to Galmar. Then they talk about the jagged crown, Ulfric asks me to get it and... Nothing. The quest asks me to talk to Galmar, but when i try, he just says "Talk to ulfric, he has news from Whiterun".

I reload an old save, but it doesn't work. So i use the setstage command to launch the next step of the quest, get the crown, give it to Ulfric, who ask me to deliver his axe to the jarl of Whiterun. I do it, come back, give it back to Ulfric who asks me to join the siege of whiterun.

 

But the quest, Battle for Whiterun, doesn't launch at all. I go there, but no siege. Galmar has disappeared. Then i check my map and see that Solitude isn't on it. I go next to it, and i see that the siege of the city is launched, but there is no soldier, no quest, nothing. And when i enter the city, everything is normal, no siege inside, and i can't go out because the door is closed.

 

So, what i want to know is, is there a way to restart it from the beginning? Before i join the Stormcloaks?

And maybe a way to launch a quest that doesn't want to launch?

Well, i found a way finally... I just leave the place i am on my save, go far from it, and then it works.

Hi. I've searched but i can't find a topic talking about it, so i made my own.

 

So. My game crashes when i try to save. Quick save, auto save, even normal save are affected. I tried to load an old save to fix it, but it really doesn't work, i can't save at all.

Any idea to get rid of it? A fix, a patch, a mod... anything would be welcome.
