  1. Hi guys, I'm working on a MOD to put inside Skyrim some songs from The Witcher soundtrack. Yesterday I posted the work in progress MOD on SkyrimNexus, but many guys told me to remove it 'cause I violated copyright. I remember that for Oblivion there was MODs with Lord of Rings, Zelda and Saint Seyia soundtracks... I know that I don't own rights of that work, but there aren't LadyGaga or Jonas Bros songs, it's just a soundtrack of a game putted into another one... :geek: My MOD improves the game experience with more immersive songs during battles or exploration, and I spent many hours working on it, ...I would like to share it with you. What do you think?
  2. I've downloaded a complete music mod from skyrimnexus, but i would like to replace some song with mine... What I must do? My songs are in mp3 format and I want to convert to XWM (before replace them in the folder). Is there a converter?
  3. Thank you for your answer. Ok, I'll try to do it only for my own game...
  4. I would like a MOD to change volume of effects, talking, music separately...
  5. Hi guys, I've got the complete "The Witcher 1" soundtrack and i would like to put it into Skyrim, 'cause I think it's really better than the actual Skyrim one (both during exploration and battles) If someone would help me, I could send him a RAR with the songs, 'cause I can't do it by myself... Some semples of the songs....: EXPLORATION. BATTLES:
  6. I know that create an armor from a picture is an hard work, but that's just a purpose... What about some Saint Seiya armors in Skyrim? I think that Asgard warriors armors would be perfect inside the cold mountains of Skyrim... http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/692/luxor2yzascgvvhavdlarge.jpg http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/3618/orion9.jpg
  7. Ok, solved!!! It's possible that armor textures are square... But characters textures are with the black square on the right... To make the mod we must duplicate the texture 8 times on the right (like Zoltan MOD)
  8. (Zoltan texture is not mine, is from a working mod downloaded here on the nexus.....) could you extract the same Dandelion texture and show me if it's different from mine?
  9. I'm fairly certain. The texture in your uploaded file was originally 2048 x 2048 as well. I looked at the dds files of the working mods downloaded and installed on my CoockedPC folder (for example Zoltan MOD) and it is also 4096x2048... http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/7765/zoltanb1.jpg (resolution reduced for a fast imageshack upload) If I try to convert my DDS texture without the black square (2048x2048) to XBM it says: Error: incomplete input file number 1...
  10. Well, that's new to me. The texture is supposed to be 2048 x 2048 pixels, as such that whole black box shouldn't even exist. Are you sure? Mine is 4096x2048. Now I try to make it 2048x2048....
  11. A little better, but, there are already some mistakes... Is correct leave the right part of the texture all black? http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/7484/witcher2201106072215538.jpg
  12. Dandelion texture is an DXT1 file. When I save I must choose: DXT1 (No Alpha) or DXT1 (1 bit Alpha) ? ...and I have to change some option when I save or use default options?
  13. Thank you for your reply, but I treid also in your way (only the XBM in the CoockedPC\characters\main_npc\dandelion__man\model folder), but the problem seems not solve. Anyway, looking at the mods made by modders on witchernexus, I saw that they put also BIN and DDS files in the folder...
  14. I'm trying to make a texture replacement for Dandelion. Could you tell me if this modding process is correct? - extract dandelion__b1.xbm - modify dandelion__b1_DXT1.dds - save - rename dandelion__b1_DXT1.dds to dandelion__b1.dds - reconvert to XBM - put dandelion__b1.dds dandelion__b1.bin dandelion__b1.xbm to: CoockedPC\characters\main_npc\dandelion__man\model Seems correct, but that's the result: http://img853.imageshack.us/img853/4604/witcher2201106071511272.jpg ...that's the MOD, could you tell me what I made wrong? http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HXWNKM80 Thank you in advance
  15. Hey, thank you so much! you are very very gentle! After dinner I'll start modding this great game!!
  16. Hi guys, it's possible to zoom out the camera with a MOD? I would like to see all the body, like Assassin's Creed for example.. http://www.cravingtech.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/creed_savecitizen.jpg
  17. Thank you for the quick tutorial. Now, could you send me all the characters folder? I don't want to mod the rest of the game, just the characters textures.
  18. Hi hismastersvoice, looking at the texture mods I've already intalled, I saw that in the folder added to my CoockedPC there are basically 3 files: *.bin *.xbm *.dds So, can you tell me if this process is correct? - convert the xbm file in dds - edit texture in Photoshop and save the dds - copy dds file and re-convert one of them in xbm - put the folder (with all the path) in CoockedPC folder I don't know if I must do something also on the *.bin file...
  19. I need the original xbm files of these characters: - Ves - Triss - Dandelion Could you send me the folder (path with all subfolders) ready to edit and post on my CookedPC and on witchernexus.com? I'm a Photoshop expert, and I really want to contribute to make better TW2, but I've got many problems with this extract process.. Thank you in advance. tobre
  20. The official Toolset is confirmed, or just a dream of us?
  21. yeah, something like that...... http://lh6.ggpht.com/_NOF0LzYdpoE/Se-CUJRe5CI/AAAAAAAACUI/H3DbxaLmFjQ/Paul_Kwon_Lyuna_Silverleaf.jpg but I now it's impossible to realize.
