When I drag my "sna4_arm0_def_bsm.ftex" or any other ftex and ftexs files they do not convert to DDS and a black box pops up with tex in it but nothing still happen. What am I doing wrong?

Hello I am new to moding and I am making my first mod for FO4, that mod being an armor/outfit mod but I am having trouble with my .Nif not appearing in the creation kit as when I edit the biped model and add my .Nif nothing shows up, but it shows up perfectly fine in the outfit studio with textures and all. I am at a road block, as in game when putting it on my characters body becomes invisible. I would be thankful for any help :)
