Phauxxee, is your wife one of the vanilla spouses, or did you add her to the "marry-able" faction?
Actually my character married her house-carl from Markarth... Argus I think?
My other character married Farkas before I started this one and he never had this problem.
He hasn't been modified in any way that I think would affect him. I've got a file to make him essential is all, and his dialog always had the option to cook a meal.
It's not that having the meal is at all important, but I was concerned because so many other mods I have had did strange things to my game and was afraid this might be the beginnings of another round of odd game glitches, or a possible bug in the game itself.

Has anyone else experienced this bug?
I assume it's a bug because everything I've read on getting married in Skyrim you should get a home cooked meal every day,
When my character did get married and they settled in to their new home the option to have a 'fresh' meal cooked for her was always in the dialog options. Now suddenly they are absent and I've not seen him offer her another meal for the last 10 levels.
Is there a fix for this, by any chance?

No I never sold the meals and still have them in my inventory.
But, when my other character was married to Farkas I gave them back to him to use for healing and he never stopped making meals for me.
As for it being something the designers implemented in the game to add a bit of reality, that wouldn't make sense as they keep sharing profits from their store for which each time I ask them I get half which comes roughly around 300-500 gold each time. Having searched Google it seems this is a bug in the game because so many others are asking the same question because they too are experiencing this problem. Also, all the info I have read in the Elder Scroll V Wiki and elsewhere says that this is part of the benefits given your character if they choose to marry in the game... so this has to be a game glitch.
