  1. Too often NPC's seem to have zero regard for their appearance. Nobles like Hans will happily attend gatherings and meetings with dirt and blood all over their face even though they've had plenty of opportunities to wash up at the tub. It breaks immersion too much
  2. I find that damaged items are too valuable and too cheap to repair. I would like to see damaged items lose their value much more, with 0% condition items being almost worthless junk, and the costs for buying repairs to scale according to the item's value at full condition. E.g. a helmet that's worth 1000 groschen at the armorer would have a value of 200 at 0 condition (which could then be sold for some smaller amount depending on your perks etc), and cost 800 groschen to repair from 0 to 100. This would make it less of an easy money hack to just hoard damaged items off of bandits, and there would be more incentive to do manual repairs on items before selling them
  3. What do you mean it was removed? You couldn't give beggars money in KCD1 either
  4. I find that nights are far too bright in KCD2. The first game hit a much better balance. Now, the only use I have for torches is to avoid fines in settlements, and Nighthawk is unnecessary. I do have a reshade preset that I switch to via keybind at night time, but it's not nearly as good as having darker nights automatically in-engine. EDIT: I've more or less found a solution to this. The reason nights were too bright was fundamentally due to playing with AutoHDR which expands the output color range to 10bit, causing shadows and dark areas to be generally too bright and washed out. I fine tuned my reshade preset to work ideally for both night and day, no longer having to swap between presets. I highly recommend the qUINT_lightroom shader by Marty McFly to darken shadows and blacks, and then ColorNoise by potatoFX to smooth out dark areas to a more uniform dark color, preventing blotchy pure black spots amongst dark grey areas.
  5. Eyes glow in the dark. It's also distracting in daylight to see partially opaque layer covering the eyes. The texture should be more glossy and less intense

  7. 50+ hours into the game and I haven't bled once, even though I've died multiple times in combat or been badly injured against opponents wielding swords and axes (slash damage). Bandages seem to be only necessary for quests. It would be more realistic if every cut from a slash damage weapon would have a high probability of a bleeding injury.
  8. To blend in? Henry can be many things, not just a traveling mercenary.
  9. The Horsemanship perk Head Start has a 10 second duration. It doesn't make sense, the horse should be able to gallop faster as long as it has stamina, and it should consume more stamina when galloping faster. The perk essentially encourages the player to gallop fast for 10 seconds, make a quick stop, and double LShift for another 10 second sprint, rinse and repeat - not very realistic. EDIT: yaay https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance2/mods/609?tab=description
  10. Basically a port of this mod from KCD1: https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/947
  11. It's rather insane that Henry can run and fight all day while getting by with a couple of hard boiled eggs and 4 hours of sleep a night. Double the current rate would be more appropriate EDIT: yaaay https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance2/mods/578?tab=description
  12. It was hard for the first few attempts, but it gets much easier when you get used to how much your mouse movement is going to move the hammer and in what direction
  13. The repetitive and predictable commenting by every NPC when playing dice is annoying af, and it breaks immersion when side characters switch to a generic voice actor that sounds entirely different.
  14. Read all of the unread entries in a category in Bestiary, Tutorial, Books, Crafting or Alchemy, and the category itself stays unread as indicated by the asterisk. To make the category show as read, you have to click on another entry. If there's only one entry in the category, this is particularly annoying because you may potentially have to open a different category, click on an item inside it, and click back to the singular item in the category you want to mark as read - three extra click just to make one stupid asterisk go away. I'm quite surprised this wasn't addressed in any of the mods that include lots of little fixes (like Nitpicker's and Besserwisser). Frankly I can't believe this made it to the v1.0 of the game ð If anyone knows about this mod, throw me a link, thanks! I tried searching but came up with nothing myself. If no such mod exists, consider this a mod request.
