  1. Bonjour I do not know for what reason such basic thing have not been included in the Settlement Workshop. There is no way to build a shack wall with a simple windows in it whether you can open it or not.< If I was to build a house, beit a Fallout Settlement, trust me, I would put windows in it all around the shack so I can see what's going outside. Bottom line, any one create a mod to had shack walls with windows?
  2. Bonjour, with the tons of mods, out there, that affect textures and lighting I'm desperate to find something to my liking. It comes a time at which you have no idea what to install to make the world more interesting. I have tried some, screwed up my installation with other but never quite found the ideal setup. I have found that something, texture enhancement achieve the opposite of their goal. Yes, things might look better but it can also make detail harder to spot, item harder to spot also. I'm also having a very hard time finding the correct lighting. Too dark, too bright. I had an issue where, in a clear sunny day, the wasteland was beautiful but details in the shadow were simply pitch black (my main issue I guess)! I have been reviwing videos on youtube but most of them are years old already or reffers mods that don't exist anymore (Resurect, for example or True Eyes). What are the mods you are using that affect the texture, graphic and lighting and why, what was your goal when choosing those mods?
  3. Ok, here's how I was installed. The Fallout installation was on D with a symlink to the C so the files were actually on the C drive. What I did is scrap everything (again!). Removed Fallout, saves, inis, Nexus Mod Manager, etc Reinsralled from scratch directly on the C, no messing with symlink and other drives. Now, I just exited the Vault and installed Towbie's mod as my first mod and the sound is now perfect. Will see along the road if this change anything. Thanks
  4. Bonjour, I know this problem has been around for quite some time now BUT, I could not find any valid fix besides the manual install. Let say I install the excellent SCAR-H mod, I get the weapon but sounds of reload and shooting are very low, barely earable. Let say I install Towbie's Realistic Weapon Sounds, then all my weapons sounds are low. My NNM install is on SSD on C: as well as my Fallout installation. If I install mods manually I get the sound working properly but I don't like this workaround. Is there any "patch" or "fix" that works with NNM or anyone has any idea of what the problem really is?
  5. For an unknown reason, Nexus Mod Manager now requires to be executed as administrator to handle mod installation which I found very annoying. I have installed 3 quarters of all my mods without admin privs. Is there some way to fix this, aka give privs to NMM without having to run it as administrator?
  6. Mmmmm... I just executed NMM with admin privilege, deleted the mod and resintalled the mod and it works! Is there a way to avoid using NMM with admin privs?
  7. This is weird, I have disabled a working mod, quit NMM. I went back to NMM and the mod was still disable. I then enabled the mod, quit NMM and went back to find it correclty enabled. When I try to enable, for example, Improved Map with Visible Roads, it doesn't stay enable and there is no change to the pluggins.txt. Does every mod add a line to the pluggins.txt (it is my assumption) ??
  8. Yes, Fallout4Custom.ini is ok : [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= Fallout4Prefs.ini is also correctly setup (I assume) [Launcher] uLastAspectRatio=1 bEnableFileSelection=1 Files are not read only.
  9. Bonjour, I have been reinstalling all my mods on a fresh installation (new computer actually). Most of my mods are now installed and active but at some point I got an error with loot and NMM complaining about plugin.txt being write protected. Now, when I activate a mod, NMM tells me it is active (green check) until I close NMM and open it again at which point the mod is marked as disabled. I have tried re-enabling the mod only to find out it do not update the plugins.txt. Anyone hit that problem before?
  10. Would you recommand anything after installing Skyrim Redone?
  11. Bonjour, I am looking for a mod that would truly rebalance the magic of Skyrim without breaking the game. I know there are a log of these mods out there but which one, in you opinion, does the job better? Thanks for sharing.
