I played my new save past where i was crashing on 1.3 (exiting the vault) and reinstalled the 1.3 patch. First thing i noticed was running a bat file to load up some extra junk also CTD'ed the system ran the one of the strings adding 1000 adhesive, same CTD lowered the count to 500 CTD lowered the count to 499 it worked! edited the txt file to lower the amount of junk items to just 499 STILL CTD. lowerd it down to 10 each.. it worked ONCE cant run it a second time, even saving and quiting and reloading.... I give up. vanilla game. no mods. at all. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THE PEOPLE THAT RELEASED THIS PATCH?

In response to post #34089630. #34090320, #34090490, #34090875, #34091040 are all replies on the same post. Kept my base install. I should mention, i blew out my saves, ini's everything. Fresh save. CTDs every time i exit the vault, and again if I tried to play that little game on the terminal in the lounge(?) in vault 111 as well. Absolutely the patches fault. If I can trigger a CDT that early in a vanilla game with a new save. there is something terribly wrong.

I fired up this festing pile of an update and was beset by multiple repeateable CTDs after months of stable gameplay. I figured what the hell, ill scrub everything, install clean, install the update, new INIs, new everything. CTD in vault 111 trying to play the holotape game in the terminal, and CTD exiting the vault right after the sun in my eyes sequence and the HUD is about to come back onto the screen. no combination of settings will get me past it. what a screwup. to re-iterate. fresh install, no mods, fresh INIs.....CTD city on a known stable system... This patch is garbage. Back to version 1, and no issues. Thanks bethesda. Guess ill wait for 1.4?

I had the same issue, and yes it was from the puddles mod.. If you use NMM, and click on the first download link, the page feeds you the BAIN version of the mod, which does not install correctly. remove it, and manually download his nmm/wry/fomod version instead. that one works fine. thank GOD i found this thread and those images... was wondering what the hell was going on.
