Im not making this mod to become some kind of famous modder. I dont really care if noone downloads it, the accomplishment is greater. Therefore I also dont care if another similar mod will exist.

Thanks for the input :). Although I do not believe that I will be able to make those mods effect your chances in becoming emperor. What I can assure you is that any palace mods you have should not be a problem with this mod as the rooms I added to it have unique entrances that were not included in Oblivion. The only way a mod would interfere with it is if the author placed his own entrances in the same locations as mine. Something that I might do before the mod is finished is create a quest tracking system that will improve your chances of becoming emperor based on the number of quests you have completed.

I dont know what servant of the dawn is but im asuming it meens your character is evil or something along those lines. The way I made the quest line makes it so even if your a bad character you can still earn your place as emperor. If thats what you meen.

I know there has been similar answers but I just want to put my word in. Doing what you suggest would require alot of user created texturing, scripting, and time. Although it is most likely possible I do not know of anyone who would put their time into a project like this :( It is a great idea though.

I do see the planet idea being good but to be honest the only way something like that would be made even by a group of modders working together would be for profit. Otherwise what would the point be spending all that time making a mod that you might get people giving you a thumbs up for at the most? Excellent idea just unrealistic is all.

I dont meen to advertise but earlier I posted an anouncement about a mod I have been making over the past while title "Take to the Throne" which shows some ideas that I have put into motion and I would love for your input. As for ideas I have not used yet I would love to see the armor worn in the movie Gladiator when Maximus Orellias confronts the emperor for the first time :). I would also like to see someone make Helms deep from lord of the rings that would be cool to.

I am relatively new to the community in the nexus forums but I would like to anounce a mod that I have been working on for about two months now. The mod opens up a new storyline after the completion of the primary Oblivion storyline. Since the amulet of kings was destroyed and no heirs to the throne remain, The council is set on searching for a new bloodline of which to trust with the responsibilty of being an emperor. You are one of the highly recomended options being the Champion of Cyrodiil. Though taking your place on the throne will not be easy, many political matters still exist and with no true leader many people are stepping forward in attempt to claim the throne for themselves. Several of these competitors are indeed "competitors" with heroic pasts and have the same qualifications to the throne as you. Your goal is to win over the council and either hold the swing vote in deciding who you wish to be the new emperor or claim the position for yourself. Dont get me wrong this storyline is not souly political as a conspiracy group acts on removing you from the picture. By the time this mod is complete (hopefully within the next few months) it will include the following: - a full length story line - a library of new side quests - many new characters most of which with new voice overs never heard in oblivion before - a new race (keeping secret for the time being) EDIT: race: Kathringi - a local to the black marshes with human appearance and metal skin. Believed to be the offspring of Argonian and Nede interbreeding though this has not been determined. - new areas including: Imperial throne room, Emperors Quarters, Conspirators Cove and more. - new items: Amulet of the Champion for example holds the same meaning as the Amulet of Kings. - Character recognition: This meens that the citizens of cyrodiil will know exactly who you are and if you choose to be emperor they will acknowledge that also. Please let me know what you think or possibly ideas of things I can add or change.
