Has anyone else noticed/figured out a way to stop the photomode from making the game so much brighter than it originally was? Also, the great lighting effects on the lights/torches (when using a Reshade) are removed. It seems that no bit of changing the brightness or other options in the mode help to fix this issue. And it's rather annoying as someone who is big on taking screenshots. Here is a quick video I took, to show the issue: .

I recently started playing FNV and realized that I have to turn off my Xbox controller every time I want to use the console. I am an avid screenarcher and this is pretty annoying. Does anyone know how to make a mod that would fix this issue?

nifskope has stopped working

Did you ever figure this out? I now have the same error for the first time. -
Has/can anyone made a video tutorial on how to do this? I've read some tutorials on NifSkope and nodes, but I don't see how to make nodes for an object that doesn't have them yet (like PictureFrameRect01prewar.nif). I have made a custom painting with it's own location and icon in the workshop. However, I don't see how to make it snap to the wall. I'm also trying to get a lamp to snap to a table. It's a vanilla lamp, so I don't see why it doesn't already do this. Anyways, I am a total newbie when it comes to adding nodes in NifSkope. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I wasn't able to follow the tutorial exactly, as it looks like he may have a slightly different version? Or maybe I can't figure out how to add the nodes that aren't on my object... What I wouldn't do for a video tutorial of this! I learn so much better that way. Thanks for the idea anyways Ethreon.

I feel like everything is done correctly, but the texture for this rug comes out purple both in the CK and in-game. The good news is that I put it in the "Special" category of the Workshop and it shows up in-game, with the correct name and materials needed to construct it. It just doesn't have the textures I put in the material swap. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You aren't alone. I don't know if it's the past Steam update (before the 6/30 one) or the Contraptions DLC. But I now get CTD's every hour even after not adding or removing any mods.

Weapon Retexture Question

Yes, I was showing that it is tiled and not overlapped. If it was tiled it could be done, but if it was overlapped it has to be remapped. I was at work at the time with no access to nifskope.After I got home from work I checked it out and I can not find the texture editor on the pre-alpha nifskope for FO4. It seems a few of the functions are not available yet. If you let me know which model you need I can do it for you and make a texture template while I'm at it. Oh wow! That is incredibly nice of you! Here are the two mods I would like to do it for: 1. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8911/? 2. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15576/? I would love to be able to get the writing from left to right on both sides of the blade, but if that's not possible, I understand. I do feel really bad to have you do this. I prefer to teach myself via YouTube etc, but only if you are bored/really want to, feel free :). I'll definitely be sure to give you the props on my mod pages. -

Is it possible to have this program for Fallout 4, now that mods are starting to use scripts now with the CK out? It is so important to have for Skyrim.

I have a couple of machete mods, where I have writing on one side of the machete. But on the other side it's like the letters bled through the blade. So it looks like the letters are backwards while using it in the first person view. Is there any way to either make the words look correct on both sides of the blade or to just make one side not have any words? I don't see any part for the other side of the blade in the texture files. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I see all of these YouTube tutorials of how to do a proper material swap with armors, but never with weapons. Every time I follow the tutorial for my weapon retexture (I am trying to make it standalone), the textures don't show up. Has anyone been successful with this?

Update: The texture replacer + adding an empty esp worked for my painting, but not for my weapon/attachments. Any idea how to make the weapon standalone with the CK, using my own textures but the vanilla mesh?
