You can use this fixpack: http://social.bioware.com/project/2563/ But keep in mind that if you use it in it´s entirety, it may cause conflicts, because it was meant to work with older versions of the game. A much more recent mod that fixes bugs in dialogue and quests is ZDF: http://dragonage.nexusmods.com/mods/928/?tab=1&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D928%26preview%3D&pUp=1 , but i don´t think this includes the noble birth quest (check the readme to make sure). What i did is to use Ejoslin´s mod, and then cherrypick which fixes i liked from Quinn´s mod, if you are familiar with the game you can do this because Quinn explains in the readme exactly which files fix each thing, and that is very helpful. ZDF is a more recent and generally better done fixpack, but some fixes are missing and are only available in Quinn´s mod. I don´t remember if the noble birth quest is one of those or not. The simplest option if you only want the noble birth quest fix and nothing else, is to download Quinn´s pack and find the file you need to fix the quest, and use only that file. This way you avoid any compatibility problems. I hope i was able to help you.

I´ve been using override mods for some time, but until now i just dropped the files in the override folder to make them work. Recently i had to format and decided to use the override utility included in modmanager for DAO, in order to have the override files organised in the same as the dazip files. I have followed the manual with pictures uploaded along with the program in the nexus, but i am stuck at one step and i have no idea how to progress. I also followed these steps, i underline the step which i have problems with. My problem is the same as described in this thread: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/232770-wont-let-me-drag-and-drop-into-mod-manager/ When i try to drop the files into the window indicated, there is a white circle with a dash that doesn´t allow to drop anything in the window. There is no place at all in the screen of the program where i could drop the file. I don´t understand how this is supposed to work, i gave administrator permission to the program (i am using windows 7 64 bits, uac activated), and yet the problem persist. I don´t understand what i am doing wrong, but it must be something quite dumb, the other user was able to figure it out on his own but i haven´t had any luck. :( Thanks in advance for any help.
