  1. Alright, well i have FOSE so i'll check out PrintToConsole, and the command scof "file.txt" does that output ALL the output since you loaded that save, or only all the output you've asked it to display? Thanks you by the way.
  2. Alright so my question is, is there anyway to get the values of all variables in the game relative to your save? Or easier, is there a way to turn on debugging so that you know when any variable has changed (varaiables in scripts / quests / etc.) and what it was changed from and what it was changed to?
  3. *sigh* i can't figure out how much to speed up the sound by. According to math i should speed it up by 150% so that the base speed of the sound is x2.5 and when that is "sped up" to .4 it should be playing at x1. but its playing to fast now, any ideas? Basic logic seems to have failed me.
  4. Ahhh but of course simple math haha, Thanks again for the help, i shall be sure to give you credit if i decide to release my mod to the public.
  5. Yes it is very interesting, caught me by surprise. And yea i looked into making radio stations, not easy haha, and i wouldn't be able to start the music from the beginning, just resume. And yea speeding it up by the same factor is a good idea, if i have SGTM set to .4 does that meen i'd have to speed up the song to x6 regular speed, x1.6 regular speed, or what? whats the conversion on that.
  6. Alright scratch that last sentence, just tested and it slows down all sounds, besides radio stations it seems, so how do i go about making my own radio station? Is there a tutorial for it or is it relatively straight forward? Thanks.
  7. Awesome now I have sound coming from the object, but now I have 1 last problem, the sound itself is in slow motion as well as gameplay haha, seeing as radio stations arent slowed down but all other sound effects are (shooting, reloading, etc.), should i just make a new radio station with that music only and attach it to the object, and if so how do i go about making a new radio station? Or is it because the sound is being activated after i go into slow motion?
  8. Ahh of course it's something simple that i overlooked haha. thanks for the help =)
  9. Basically what the topic says. I need to make a new global variable but when i go to misc. Global, and right+click "new" nothing pops up to let me create a new one, nor can i edit existing ones, so how would i go about doing this? Any help appreciated.
  10. Ahhh ok, ill look into that as well, hopefully theres a simple solution haha
  11. Alright i just did that, replaced the object with ComputerRack01, but no sound came from it.. =\, its either my script or possibly a game setting? every other pre-placed object in the game have their normal looping sounds playing, oh and the file you downloaded is probably to old one, it doesn't use the invisible object to play the sound, just calls the playSound function, which SHOULD work in theory but doesn't, at least not when i tried it haha. If you cant find the Chems by the way i think i put the ID codes in the READ ME.txt file.
  12. Well i've actually been working on that for a while, i've almost got it down to where you click a button and it resets everything to do with that quest, and you restart it like you've never done it before, but i'm trying to work out a way to make it so you don't need that because it's quite a hassle
  13. Alright I tried placing an object at the player that has a sound attached but yet again no sound. The object spawned fine but no sound was coming from it. (the model i used was bobbleheadAGL) are there certain models that don't project sound? and yes the sound is set up as 2D. Heres the script as of now:: scn ESMActivatorsSCRIPT ref rMusicFollower begin ScriptEffectStart Player.AddItem ESMActivator 1 set rMusicFollower to Player.PlaceAtMe ESMMusicFollower 1 sgtm .4 End Begin ScriptEffectFinish sgtm 1 End
  14. I recently had a virus on my computer as well, like Clexors problem the said virus / program was using about 86 - 100% of my CPU, I forget the name but i think it might have been stdrt.exe... not quite sure though, to remove the virus i ended up reformatting my hard drive and did a clean install (about a week ago). Then i got the virus again, and i still don't know how, it was literally a day after the clean install and i had downloaded nothing at all yet except Firefox. To get rid of it that time i just traced the exe in safe mode and deleted it and everything to do with it. That was 4 days ago, and computer seems to be running normal for now.
