Hello everyone, new member here! Anyways I am going to be getting a laptop for school and yes i do need a laptop. Since it is a computer for school my parents said that they will get me a laptop for me as an early Christmas present. Since they are going to buy me a computer they said they aren't going to buy individual parts plus i heard its very difficult to swap parts out on laptops. So in the end, I'm getting a laptop from a store and I can't really get anything above $450-$500 which I know isn't stellar. Basically the mods I want to run are armor mods (examples: Tyrael's armor from Diablo III, Warhammer 40K Space Marine armor, Sauron LOTR armor) plus different weapons. And the dancing mod that is used a lot on the Skyrim Poop Youtube series. I also want to be able to run mods that add in better trees and grass/flowers/water. I understand that I wont be able to run this on high graphics and wont be able to use higher graphics mods but my question is would these mods work on lower graphics settings, even the trees and grass ones if they are used on low/normal settings? My father has a laptop he just bought at a store and he plays skyrim (without mods) on regular graphics settings and it runs fine as far as I can tell. He is out of state right now because of work so i can't really find out which one he has... I am 100% new to modding and want to make sure that it is easy enough for a beginnner to use. I don't want to accidentaly crash my laptop which i must have for school. And I heard there are some mods that improve your gameplay for lower end computers. Any that you recommend? I am really hoping I can get Skyrim to work. I am used to playing it on the ps3 so the graphics resolution isn't a huge concern to me lol I just dont want my fps to be crap or the game just keep crashing. Oh and I will be able to get a discount if I buy from Walmart.com so if you see any laptops there could you send me a link? I'm sorry if this is a lot of questions to ask but as I said I am new and am trying to get as much info as possible. I looked up the system requirements for Skyrim but when I'm looking at the specs online I don't really understand how to compare. Any help you can give me would greatly be appreciated!
