  1. Like I said in my other thread, I need to get a laptop and have a very tight budget. The only mods i will be running are armor and weapons mods plus i will be using some mods that help me run the game on medium/lower settings and if i can maybe mods like the Pines of Whiterun. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Dell-Black-15.6-Inspiron-15-Laptop-PC-with-Intel-Core-i3-4030U-Processor-4GB-Memory-1TB-Hard-Drive-and-Windows-8.1/36976916 I play it on the ps3 so graphics aren't a huge concern lol
  2. Also does it matter if i buy physical or digital copy? And if i get the legendary edition will it run slower if i get a computer with like i said the eight gigs of free disc space?
  3. Thanks for all the very helpful responses! I also was thinking, I'm going to use mainly armor and weapon mods. Is it okay to use them all on one character or should i spread it out? For instance i wanted to have Tyrael armor and sword. If i have lots of other mods would it be better just to make a separate character? I've heard if you make your save file too big it can make your game unplayable at least for the ps3. I think it would be cool to make a sub zero mortal kombat character but I've only seen videos of making him from a character creation race so that might just have to be a character i make separate. Just thought I'd ask :) Edit: my ps3 character was level 97 please tell me there's leveling up mods lol
  4. Hey thanks for the quick reply. I'm glad to hear you think I'll be fine. I was looking at some laptops today and the one was 8gb free disc space and i think it was about $468. I'll try to look up some possible candidates tomorrow and maybe post a link here to see if you could tell me if it's good or not. Again I'm sorry I'm completely new to this stuff lol very excited!
  5. Hello everyone, new member here! Anyways I am going to be getting a laptop for school and yes i do need a laptop. Since it is a computer for school my parents said that they will get me a laptop for me as an early Christmas present. Since they are going to buy me a computer they said they aren't going to buy individual parts plus i heard its very difficult to swap parts out on laptops. So in the end, I'm getting a laptop from a store and I can't really get anything above $450-$500 which I know isn't stellar. Basically the mods I want to run are armor mods (examples: Tyrael's armor from Diablo III, Warhammer 40K Space Marine armor, Sauron LOTR armor) plus different weapons. And the dancing mod that is used a lot on the Skyrim Poop Youtube series. I also want to be able to run mods that add in better trees and grass/flowers/water. I understand that I wont be able to run this on high graphics and wont be able to use higher graphics mods but my question is would these mods work on lower graphics settings, even the trees and grass ones if they are used on low/normal settings? My father has a laptop he just bought at a store and he plays skyrim (without mods) on regular graphics settings and it runs fine as far as I can tell. He is out of state right now because of work so i can't really find out which one he has... I am 100% new to modding and want to make sure that it is easy enough for a beginnner to use. I don't want to accidentaly crash my laptop which i must have for school. And I heard there are some mods that improve your gameplay for lower end computers. Any that you recommend? I am really hoping I can get Skyrim to work. I am used to playing it on the ps3 so the graphics resolution isn't a huge concern to me lol I just dont want my fps to be crap or the game just keep crashing. Oh and I will be able to get a discount if I buy from Walmart.com so if you see any laptops there could you send me a link? I'm sorry if this is a lot of questions to ask but as I said I am new and am trying to get as much info as possible. I looked up the system requirements for Skyrim but when I'm looking at the specs online I don't really understand how to compare. Any help you can give me would greatly be appreciated!
