  1. Ok, I looked around and could not find any info on this glitch, so I decided to write it up to the best of my abilities. When obtaining Goldbrand, if you have the required amount (11171 Drakes) to obtain Eltonbrand upon activating the shrine to receive goldbrand, or by removing the required amount of drakes from your inventory, a glitch will occur, causing both weapons to remain in your inventory. If you alter your inventory in any way, the game will force Goldbrand out of your inventory. Equipping various weapons, while goldbrand is glitched in your inventory causes it's stats to alter, as well as it's name. I believe this is due to how Goldbrand is shifted through your inventory. To keep both swords present throughout the rest of the game, find a container of any sort, activate the glitch with the container window open, and then deposit Goldbrand into the container before closing it. If you open the container and attempt to pick up the sword, it will activate the Eltonbrand script again, causing you to have 2 eltonbrand's in your inventory, to which you can then deposit both swords in the container, and hang on to your main Elton, while having the other's as collector's items. Do note, that through my experiences, duping eltonbrand more then once cause the game to freeze and CTD. Also, if you keep the window open for too long, again the game will CTD.
  2. I wonder if I could replicate it. I figure the glitch fans would love this one! Having both at the same time for a collector's sake? I'll see what I can do.
  3. In the fear that I get yelled at for a double post, a quick update: I loaded up morrowind, only to find goldbrand was gone! So this topic will forever remain a mystery...
  4. Ok, through pure luck, and I do mean luck, I acquired goldbrand and Eltonbrand. Mind you this is my first dedicated playthrough so I was exstatic when I aquired the Eltonbrand. Now, onto my question: I noticed after I acquired Eltonbrand, goldbrand had an odd numbering after it's name (123) or something like that. Also, it's durability skyrocketed into the billions. So I ask, what the f*** is going on? Did an odd glitch occur, or did I just obtain an unbreakable weapon?
  5. Think about the cd this way, if you could constantly ground all your opponents with unrelenting shout and give it a cd of 3 seconds, that would be a tad bit broken IMO. Whirlwindsprint sure, just for extra traveling speed would be nice, but the shouts are set that way to prevent the player from abusing them. I know after I jacked my alchemy up, I had no real use for shouts because if it didn't die in one hit I would paralyze the guy and go to town.
  6. So I recently got my hands on the old vvardenfell map, and along with the skyrim map I decided I wanted a map of tamriel, but did not know how to squire one so I made this: http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn287/piroteck431/1324228420.jpg Did I manage to do it justice? I got the source from a map I found on google. Just wanted to know if I did a decent job or if I need to try again?
  7. I wanted to let everyone know. As of right now, the only way to mod the music it to convert your song to a .wav ad then to .xwm file, rename it to one of the songs found in the music section of the Sounds.bsa folder, and place it in it's appropriate music folder in the data folder. An example: I renamed the mod listed above as mus_explore_day_09 and placed it in data/music/explore. As far as my tests have shown, you can only do this for the list of songs preset for the game. I have had no conclusive evidence of a song not playing that was not listed on the music track.
