  1. You say they look normal once you kill them...maybe you have a mod installed that interferes with the animation of them? If so, try changing the mod load order. If not, huh...I don't know.
  2. @imperium999, the car analogy might have been a bit extreme, but for someone who has never made a mod or used a 3D modeling app or had the skills or the time, it would most likely yield the same result.
  3. LOL. With that logic: "I don't like all the small electric cars the auto industry is making these days. Can't any of them make decent rugged vehicles anymore?" "If you don't like it, why not go build your own car."
  4. I used to have strange checkerboard shading (especially evident in snowy areas). I fixed it by changing the load order of a couple of lighting/shadow mods - it seems one was trying to "fix" what the other was trying to do.
  5. It's a secret... :whistling:
  6. I think it's a console command, TFC (for "toggle free camera" or something like that). I've used it while standing still to compose a screenshot, but I think it works while auto-walking.
  7. LOL Rooker75, your #3 reply looks a lot like my #2 reply... :whistling:
  8. Purple objects usually means the texture for that object could not be loaded or is corrupt.
  9. Are you by chance using a "Colored Map Markers" mod? I was, and this happened to me. I disabled that mod and my markers came back.
  10. You can drop the mod archive on the other computer that has NMM. Then from that machine fire up NMM and tell it to install the mod from a file, then browse to that file.
  11. Have you been able to buy other houses? Have you talked to the Jarl's steward? The Jarl doesn't sell you the house...
  12. Yay, now all you guys won't have to take potty breaks anymore...all you need is your tablet and a comfy toilet seat and play Skyrim all day and all night while on the crapper. :P
  13. If you don't mind using the console, but just don't want to type a bunch of commands, you could create (or someone could do it for you) a script that executes all the console commands to clear all your perks. Then, to respec your character you just open the console and type one command to run the batch script.
  14. The kind that have only had the game a couple of months, perhaps? Check the dates of those posts. Someone necro-bumped this thread. :wallbash:
  15. The OP lost me right at the start. Title is "Dirty Skyrim", but some mods in his proposed compilation are for beautification of Skyrim.
  16. Dragonbone arrows? Never seen any...must be a mod? Might want to read through the comments on the mod page or contact the mod author.
  17. Are you using any mods that affect lighting/shadows? Try changing the load order - pehaps put the shadow mod towards the bottom (last to load).
  18. The more mods you install, the bigger the save file - it has to record what add-ons are installed. I also think it grows, probably a lot slower though, as you play and explore/discover things and start aquiring loot.
  19. xlcr beat me to it.
  20. LOL. That's the mod I linked to in my first reply...apparently you didn't look at it.
  21. You can't, without an external program like Fraps, or this mod.
  22. Prolly banned for being an asshat... Does it matter why?
  23. Maybe a less-skilled character cannot wield a weapon as effectively as one with more skill point for that type of weapon? I'm sure some dope off the street cannot do as much damage per strike with a katana as someone skilled in martial arts weaponry could.
  24. I would suggest trying Project Reality - Climates of Tamriel it not only adds really nice lighting, but lots of weather systems and some sounds. Make sure you read the description, as there are a couple of popular mods that cause conflicts and/or instability.
