Some people don't want to work on mods until all the DLC's are out and Bethesda has slowed down / stopped patching the game. This is so they don't have to mess with having to updating their mod every time some new patch comes out or what not. Or worse, end up making a mod which gets largely broken requiring it to be started over completely.

Oh don't worry. There will be. They exist in Skyrim so they will soon exist in FO4. I'm not a fan of such mods, but, human nature being what it is, I'm not surprised they're available. At the end of the day, you can do what I do, and just sort them out unless you're actively looking for them.

Well... I propose a simple solution. You pay attention to who uses the bathroom, and who doesn't. Because everybody poops... unless they're an android. This mod would require scripting for non-synth settlers as well as non synth NPC's to utilize sitting animation on toilets on occasion. The inclusion of outhouses to the settlement crafting menu, as well as toilets in good condition would also be pretty important. Of course the question is can we enable scripts to make this happen? If so I think this would be a quality immersion mod. So any ideas, thoughts and criticisms?

Yeah I agree. The limitations the game is placing on ones ability to place objects / walls, etc, is extremely frustrating to me. There are some kind of crappy work arounds but they only work for some things and not at all for what I want, which is like you say, being able to clip stuff into terrain / existing buildings.

I'd highly appriciate the clipping to be able to be turned off. for example, trying to build around other structures, like power lines at Abernathy, or the crappy houses in Sanctuary. In so many places you cant build because it refuses to let you clip in even places where you ought to be able to build. If you could simply force placement even when highlighted red it would make a HUGE difference.

That helps for some items, in some situations, but its still not a full fix.

A lot of people want this but there isn't any obvious way to do it right now. We're likely going to have to wait for creation kit in Jan / Feb

This is also something I want a lot. It would make building within the forced framework of Sanctuary's houses much easier. I.e. I want to build on their roofs but it will only let you do so with floating gaps etc.

The really sad thing? Is that the key you need to hold down to fine tune the position on some objects... is also the key you need to press to place them! ........ Isn't that f***ing retarded? If you're using the fine tune say, to place something in a weird spot where it just wont place normally otherwise, you still can't place it because as soon as you let go to press E again, it'll move back to the whatever dumb f***ing position you didn't want it in to begin with. Like, using that to move things can work, some of the time but... seriously... its just terribad interface design.

I want a mod that does this more than anything else right now. It's putting a serious damper on my creativity by limiting me in rediculous ways. It's especially annoying to play about in the game world and seeing the same objects placed by the game developers and they clearly were using no collision to place those same objects. :/

Id love something that would give 2 points per level instead of just 1, mainly because of all the crafting stuff etc

I think the simplest solution would be a mod that gives players 2 perks per level instead of just 1. Then, you would have 100 perks at 50, and you could grind out another 62 perks if you wanted, but typically with 100 perks, your going to get most of what you want for your play style, and it wont be so punishing to take non-combat selections. Giving every possible perk automatically might be too unbalancing towards the far end of things and could make the game boring.
