  1. OP should check the Steam Workshop for zombie apocalypse mods. I've tried a couple and they basically spawn draugr in the wilderness. It's quite a lot of draugr, mind you, groups of 15-20. So that's kind of like zombie apocalypse, without details like bites/infection or survivors. It makes exploring a tedious business, because you are swatting zombie after zombie after every turn.
  2. A while ago I saw a mod on the Workshop that had muskets and arquebuses. They were kinda like crossbows and they had a "bang" audio. OP might want to look for that.
  3. When clearing dungeons what usually happens is - kill enemy #1 - open loot screen and quickly take items of interest This kind of breaks up the tempo and immersion. The other option is - kill enemy #1 - kill enemy #2 ... - go back through the whole dungeon and loot all bodies This, I think, is more realistic - if I were a real adventurer, that's what I would do, I would make sure the whole dungeon is safe before getting on with business :) Thus, it would be nice if there was a mod that does exactly that. Instead of the player having to walk from body to body, you just get a loot menu that represents a "collective inventory" of what each corpse in the dungeon contains. On the same screen you see all weapons, all armors, all stuff that all the enemies you killed carry. It is a substitution for having to walk from body to body. I don't know if its possible, but I'm sure its hugely convenient. It makes combat and exploration much much smoother, and the game will be more immersive. You go from enemy to enemy without worrying about burden or leaving behind some chest/dead mage. First there is fighting time, then there is spoils of war time. Some adjustments may include: still allowing looting in real time; only allowing the "total loot" window when player is near entrance/exit; This idea is probably impossible to implement for the outside of forts, and players will still have to manually pick up potions/ingots/books that are lying around on tables.
  4. I first played Skyrim in 2014 and I've never asked people on their gameplay. In particular, I'm curious how people deal with how easy the game gets after a certain level. Once you get a high level in smithing and/or enchanting, god gear allows you to cut through the enemies like they're nothing (not to mention the final boss fight). Personally, I used to crank up the difficulty to the max and also ran a mod that adds higher-level enemies (bandits, draugr, and the like). There's a mod I use, "High Level Enemies 1.6," which people seem to find useful. More importantly, I'm wondering how people deal with drinking potions. Because of the huge number of differently-named potions, its impossible to use one or two hotkeys to drink potions during battle. However, if you want to drink one during battle, you need to navigate the menus and this really breaks the flow of combat.
  5. This solution just worked for me. I was updating my mods, including skyui, and i experienced ctd on using inventory. I deleted all skyui files, but it didn't work. I then deleted inventorymenu.swf and that fixed it.
  6. In the Middle Ages, it was customary to take off your helm when you were a guest to someone's castle or home or inn. This way you showed that you trust them and you acknowledge their supremacy (i don't remember where I read it :D ). It's also why men in the modern period remove their hats when entering a building. So, why not have a simple mod that unequips the player's headgear when they enter a shop, pub, palace, house, Jorrvaskr, etc.? It would be great for immersion, it will show the Dragonborn's face more often, and I suppose it wont be hard to make. I'd do it myself, if I could code :)
