  1. So it's been a little while since I was last into modding and I remember having all of my games in one folder or something so it was easy to find and edit the files. Is it just as simple as making a folder for them all to go into? Also, how do I make the game download into that directory from Steam?
  2. So after looking for days, I finally found a mod that adds a hoodie into the game. It's part of this mod here. It's a dark purple hoodie, (hopefully you don't mind purple) and it can be worn by both males and females. There's also some other cool stuff in Kikais Equipment. There's one more mod that was suggested to me called Tailor Maid which you can find here. It has a bunch of individual armor pieces that you can add on top of armor that you are currently wearing. For example: Wasteland Doctor Fatigues and the shoulder padding from the Armored Vault Suit. Or T-45d Power Armor with a Oasis Villager Cloth over your shoulders. There are A LOT of potential combinations for that perfect appearance for your character. It was a pain for me to find the right mods so I thought I'd share these with you. Happy trails, wastelanders!
  3. Nevermind, I can't even find the fallout.ini file
  4. Okay, I found the Falloutprefs (the .ini, I guess?) file. The guide says to change 'bUsethreadedAI=0' to 'bUsethreadedAI=1' but I don't have that line anywhere. Where should I add it?
  5. My bad, I need to update that part. I run Windows 8.1
  6. Processor Intel Core i3 3110M @ 2.40GHz Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology Memory 4.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz Motherboard Hewlett-Packard 1854 Graphics Card: Generic PnP Monitor (1366x768@60Hz) Intel HD Graphics 4000 (HP) Soundcard Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor Size 15"
  7. It never happens right away. Occurs after about half an hour of gameplay (give or take). I use NMM, FOSE, LOOT and Wrye Flash to install mods, launch the game, and keep my load order tidy. There are no problems listed in Wrye Flash; all mods are green with checkmarks and my saves are purple with checkmarks. Not sure what the issue is. My load order is as follows: GameMode=Fallout3 Fallout3.esm=1Anchorage.esm=1BrokenSteel.esm=1PointLookout.esm=1ThePitt.esm=1Zeta.esm=1RH_IRONSIGHTS.esm=1CALIBR.esm=1FOOK2 - Main.ESM=1FOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.ESM=0SShop.esm=1CALIBRxMerchant.esp=1SShopItems.esp=1RH_IronSights_Basic_AnchoragePlugin.esp=1RH_IronSights_RemoveReticule.esp=1RH_IronSights_Basic_VanillaPlugin.esp=1RH_IronSights_Basic_ZetaPlugin.esp=0RH_IronSights_Pitt_NewRifleSights.esp=1RH_IronSights_Basic_PittPlugin.esp=1RH_IronSights_PL_NewItems.esp=1RH_IronSights_Basic_BrokenSteelPlugin.esp=1RH_IronSights_Basic_PointLookoutPlugin.esp=1FOOK2 - Main.esp=1FOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.esp=0FOOK2 - Main [Hotfix].esp=1FOOK2 - DIK [Hotfix].esp=0Bashed Patch, 0.esp=1 Any help would be very appreciated!
  8. LOOT, TES5 Edit, and Wrye Bash are all invaluable when sorting your mods for the best performance. The way you describe it reminds me of a corrupted save that happened to me a little while ago. Start a new game and see how it goes. If all goes well, then it was probably a corrupted save file.
  9. I have quite a few of the mods you have and I am experiencing similar problems, and I have a thread for this open as well.
  10. It could be a mod that you always use. Since you've tried different mod set ups, it should narrow it down (at least a little) to the mods that you always have active. Otherwise, heavy scripting mods may be a problem. (I think they bog down any game if there's too many) Although, 200+ mods is a lot for any system.
  11. So would it maybe help me if I raised the heap sizes?
  12. So for a little while now I've been crashing after about 10 minutes (give or take) of playing and I'm not sure why. There isn't anything specific that I do in-game to trigger a CTD. I've used TES5 Edit, LOOT, and Wrye Bash and all looks well on that end; no corrupt saves or mod errors. So I'm pretty much stumped. Any insight on this would be invaluable. Thank you in advance. I use the latest version of NMM I have Dragonborn and Dawnguard I have the latest SKSE and Skyrim updates I don't have other things open when I play I play with the windowed display (not sure if that matters?) My graphics settings are on low My computer specs are on my profile here at nexus I can provide a list of my mods if needed.
  13. Sooooo, I installed the mod, and no plugin appeared. I closed and reopened NMM and still no plugin. Of course, the mod isn't active in game either. Any assistance would be appreicated.
  14. Everything works up until I click "New Game". Then it crashes.
  15. I can't find the bUseThreadedAI line they're talking about in the ini file
