A complete uninstall and reinstall of the game should not be necessary. At the most remove the mods from the Mods folder and do a Steam Integrity check then on the RedLauncher screen click the gear icon and disable mods. Actually this last step probably works fine instead of removing all mods from the mods folder although I haven't tried that. Its annoying as hell that an update for a feature that only the few users with 4000 series cards can take advantage of would wreck so much havoc. Something like this should be optional
