  1. Wow, you really did a great job editing your article! It looks and reads great now, and the cleanliness makes your humor stand out much more than before. I laughed when I thought of examples of some of the points you make, such as Uncle Shub's Salad Scissors. It's a real attention grabber, but it doesn't really make sense; however, Shub did a great job making sure everything in his download was nicely labeled. Perhaps Shub read your article! If I would add anything to the article, it would have to be this: I'm going to use Shub's download as an example again. The readme, ESP, BSA, and screen shots folder are not inside a folder themselves. So when you extract them, you either have to highlight all of them and drag them out, or push a few extra buttons. If the modder puts all the files into a properly named folder and then archives that, it is not only easier to extract but already organized to boot! Thank you Shiholude, and kudos to you for a great article!
  2. I agree with this article wholeheartedly. I'm the type of modder who downloads mods in bulk, and adds them in all at once. While I always get them to work, it is only because I spend time prior to installation renaming and reorganizing files; such as the infamous "readme," the ambiguous hotfix, and the generic ESP/ESM. I had just gotten used to dealing with it over the years, but it would be nice to see a change in the modding community wherein files are already appropriately named and organized. I would like to suggest changing the article just a bit, however. I think it would be more beneficial as a mod naming guideline with bolded headers, and neatly indented bullets with proper punctuation. I love your idea, but many people might not take it seriously if you don't lead by example. Thank you for taking the time to write this.
  3. When do I install MGE before or after all the texture fixes, mods, patches, etc? Everything MGE does is standalone from fixes, patches and mods. The only way they would effect each other is through your FPS. I would recommend you patch up your Morrowind files to make sure everything is running as smoothly as possible. Then I would get MGE up and running, and test it for a while before you add any texture replacers, such as Quarl's Visual Pack XT. The reason why is because Morrowind really isn't that stable to begin with FPS wise, and you'd be surprised just how much slowdown you might get from MGE even with vanilla graphics. If you can get 40-50 FPS with the settings you like in Balmora using MGE, then you can consider getting a nice texture pack. Hope that helped!
