Don't be afraid to use console comamds. Just be careful. And yes you can do things to your game that could cause you to re-install. But as long as you're careful, read everything and ask question (like you are now ) you'll be ok.
I am by no means an expert on console command useage. I use it with caution and I haven't had a problem yet. The camera functions you are intrested in are pretty tame so I wouldn't freak out. I use them all the time. Go slowly and have some fun taking some great pics. Would love to see your work.
Thanks for the good advice. Do you happen to know the answer to this question (in bold)?
For tc, toggle controls driven, it says this "If used when highlighting an NPC, will transfer control to said NPC, but any command input will be passed in addition to the player unless player.tc is used to remove control.". So how does this work? Do you select an NPC, type in tc, and then type in player.tc? Also, how do you undo this? How do you make it so that you don't control the NPC anymore, give control back to your character, and get things back to normal?

I recommend not putting the health very high if you want challenge with the game. With that kind of health and stamina at level 19, you can just mop the floor with enemies.

Is there a mod that marks your horse on the map? I hate riding around on a horse, switching to walking around on foot, and then losing your horse and not knowing where your horse is.
You know you really should try the "Search" function of the Nexus ... You'd be amazed what you can find ...
Try this ...
All I did was type 'horse' into the search field ... Just sayin'.
I search through files on Nexus. Sometimes I don't feel like sifting through many mods. I searched horse and found 97 files. I could have read through many mods, or ask the question in a thread to see if anyone knew of a mod that marks your horse on the map. I can ask a question, go on to other things, and then if no one answers the question, I can look through the files.

So what I've learned from this is to just not even talk to Louis Letrush. XD

Okay, so Skyrim doesn't look as good as it should because it was made primarily on XBox 360 hardware rather than for the PC first and foremost. Hopefully TES VI will be made primarily for PC, but even if not and it is made primarily for consoles instead, it'll be next gen consoles, so it will look a lot better than Vanilla Skyrim.
So I saw this picture, and it made me think that TES VI could look like the graphics in this picture while running at a good frame rate.

What do you guys think? A realistic expectation for TES VI graphics? I sure hope the game looks that good.

First a word of caution: Console commands are serious stuff...USE WITH CAUTION! They can break your game.
When you are using 'Toggle Commands' they 'toggle' settings on and off (or vice versa)
So use your above procedure then reverse order, enter commands again to revert back to normal op.
If you screw things up, would you need to reinstall?

Nexus is the place for Skyrim mods for me. But I found some mods on the workshop that I didn't see on Nexus. So perhaps I should check around the Workshop some more. I might find some good mods there that aren't here.

I'm not looking forward to this, actually. It'll be buggy, I'm sure. I wish the kill animations weren't in the game. It gets buggy for me a lot of times, and it is pretty annoying. I have a really awesome horse mod (conjurable ethereal horse) and I'd hate for mounted combat in the game to make this mod buggy (it already is buggy at times as it is). If only things like kill animations and mounted combat weren't forced onto Skyrim players, but allowed to be chosen or not chosen.

Note that your shield doesn't count as part of the requirement for getting the bonus for wearing all the same type of armor. Thus, you can wear all light armor and use a heavy shield, for instance. You'll get the perk bonus for having light armor, or even a "matching set" if all the pieces are of the same sort, AND you'll level up in both Light Armor and Heavy Armor (as long as you have your shield equipped and use it for blocking).
Kudos given to you. That is a great idea. But it might make light armor raise slower. I want to raise my light armor as fast as possible. Still, I'll consider using a heavy shield. Would having light armor for everything except the shield make them both raise slower since both are being raised? Would it give normal gains for the light armor when I take hits (no blocking) and then slower gains with it for successful blocks with a shield?

Is it banned as of today, or might it be banned in the coming months?

Make sure to take the opportunity to add your own sound effects to the game by making sounds with your mouth.

Im not keen on maces i associate them with knights and the templars and i hate that sort of medieval look, do maces have a 'ignore armour' ability? Ive seen this in many other games and thats the only reason i would use one seeing as they look ugly and are pointless compared to a sword!
I really like the look of steel maces. I was going to go around with a steel mace, but no skyforge maces is a negative, and my skyforge war axe is serving me very well.
I was doing steel armor for a bit, but I went back to light armor. I am using fur armor. Light armor has its advantages, and plus, my Nord warrior woman looks so foxy in fur armor. I think for my planned Imperial warrior woman, I'll go with fur armor for her, but she'll have long hair instead of short, wear circlets with armor ratings instead of helmets (mod), and will wield a skyforge steel great sword. She'll be more of an amazon-barbarian type that fights for the Imperials.
-
If you were to wear, say, light armor on most of your body, but then heavy armor for boots and gauntlets and helmet; a mix and match of the two, would you level up both skills from taking damage? Or does it defer only to the body armor (i.e. - steel armor, leather armor, etc.)? I'd like to know. I wouldn't mind leveling up both if I could.
-
Okay, just thought I'd make sure.

I'd like to know, are there any conflicts or is there any buginess with using mods from nexus and also using mods from Steam Workshop, too? I figure there aren't, but I should ask. I am finding some mods there that aren't at Nexus.

Wow, you say leather armor can be improved to the armor cap? Fur armor, too? Also, the armor cap is what, something around 550? I believe it is something like that.
From the UESPWiki Armor page:
With the aid of enchanting (fortify smithing) and pre-made enchanting and smithing potions, and of course the appropriate armor perks, you can reach the armor cap with any style or type of armor in the game, even hide and iron armor. All without even using a shield. If you're using higher-level armors, including steel, you don't even need to fully optimize smithing to hit the cap, but I always do anyway. It isn't difficult and the results for armor and weapons are worth it.
I need to get smithing higher, but I don't want to power level. I played Skyrim for many hours, but was power leveling, and it took away a lot from the game, so I put the game down for over a month and just got back into it and am trying to play the game properly now, you could say. Trying to avoid fast traveling, avoid power leveling, etc.

Any armor in the game, heavy or light, can eventually be improved to a level well above the armor cap. So later levels is when you have the least worries about what type of armor you use, since they all provide the most protection the game will give you.
The higher-rated armors only give you a benefit during the time before you can make maximum improvements, but the benefit doesn't seem really overwhelming. Putting perks into Agile Defender or Juggernaut can help keep your choice viable between smithing improvements. One of my characters stuck with leather all the way, so all varieties of steel will certainly work. One of my heavy-armor characters is quite pleased with the Wolf armor, which is a great match for the Skyforge and Nord Hero weapons, and looks even better now that I've discovered the Wolf Armor Remix mod. Another made do with regular steel and steel plate loot pieces until he could get the Ebony set he really wanted. So it is perfectly possible to choose your armor for aesthetic reasons.

I am playing characters that will fit into the scheme of things. I have two Nord characters (both female) and one of them (a warrior) will be a storm cloak. I want to play as an Imperial woman (another warrior) and make her join the legion. The other Nord woman won't join the storm cloaks or the imperials. She will be a part of the thieves guild.

Wouldn't another way to avoid this problem in the future be to back up his Skyrim folder when he has everything in working order, so that if things ever get really screwy again, he can just revert to the saved Skyrim folder? I'm not sure about this. I was told that that is a good idea, but I've never had to result to that.

Thanks for the help guys. For the add perk method, do I need to have the required level (50)? I'm guessing no, but I don't have time to check this out right now. I won't be able to check it out until four or so hours from now.

I'd like to know how to raise smithing up to a higher level via console command. I have no saves with smithing up to level 50, which is the level I want to get up to. I don't want to cheat in the game, I just want to get from level 30 to level 50 right away to check out what kind of armors I can create at the forge with the advanced armors perk. I have the complete crafting overhaul and another crafting overhaul, and I believe that I can create some armors via the advanced armors perk, which I can't create now without that perk. I'd like to see what I can choose from later in the game. The reason I want to see what I can choose from with advanced armors is I don't know if I want to raise my light armor skill or heavy armor skill (and whether to put perks in one or the other) until I check out the light armors and heavy armors that I can make with advanced armors.
Also, I just want to confirm, with the complete crafting overhaul and with more craftables, there will be more armors available to me with the advanced armors perk once I get it, right?

I'm trying to go with a warrior (female) who will wear steel armor, even in later levels. Hopefully, with the right perks and via smithing, this will be doable. I may go with dwarven armor. Do you think this could work with dwarven armor, or steel armor for that matter? I'd use a mod that makes dwarven armor look like regular steel in color.
The thing is, I'm picky about a lot of the metal armors. My character looks a lot more like how I want her to look in steel armor vs. elven or glass armor. I know other people like to choose armors they think are more appropriate aesthetically. It is the same with different weapons. I really like the look of steel weapons in comparison to most other weapons. That is why I want to use Skyforge steel weapons instead.

How I hope TES VI looks
in Skyrim LE

While I agree with wanting Bethesda to focus on improving various things over Skyrim that doesn't include visuals, I'm also happy to know that TES VI will have significantly better graphics. The game will release when PC technology is significantly better and it'll also be coded for next gen hardware that will be a big step up from the hardware from 2005 and 2006. No doubt, TES VI will have much better graphics than Skyrim and I welcome that. I'm not spoiled and only want the best graphics all the time and I am rather content with the graphics of vanilla Skyrim, but I'm pretty eager for next gen visuals.
