I got an idea after reading some of the comments in my previous topic. Since UAC is on vista and win7, i have a windows xp computer that will allow the mods i download. So i had two questions: How old is TES Oblivion? Will my NVIDIA GeForce3 200 Ti graphics card work for Oblivion? Thanks, Roughnecks.

Noooo... don't advise peeples to do that! I actually got banned from a tech support forum I used to use for that! Apparently people are all completely dumb and therefore can only be allowed to use their computers exactly the way microshaft, the UAC, and the Feds want em to or the world will endz! Srsly! Ahem... Nah. Seriously. I did get banned, but I'm not bitter. I already firebombed that particul... I'll stop there before I incriminate myself further. But supposedly, if you've the UAC on your system, and you've disabled it, and something goes wrong, be it UAC related or not, Microsoft can actually refuse you any support on the grounds you've done something to your system that they never advise and, if it was down to them, a "regular user" wouldn't be able to do anyways. i put the mods in C:\Program Files(x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data just as the read me told me too, the only mods i have downloaded are the Color Map Mod and Castle Almgard

My oblivion folder is in Program Files(87) or something, and i had mods for fallout and fallout was in the same place as oblivion and the fallout mods worked.

I downloaded and put all the files from mods into the right places but when i go to use the OBMM, there is nothing there except the oblivion. Help

thanks. I also have a problem with my wired xbox 360 controller. It doesn't work and there is no option under controls to activate it. Anyway to fix this?

I downloaded OBSE and OBMM. I had FOSE and FOMM for Fallout and when i clicked on the FOMM it said launch Fallout 3 before FOSE and launch FOSE after FOSE was installed. Is this the same way for Oblivion? All i see is Launch Oblivion. Are you supposed to see like launch OBSE?

I have no clue how to install it. I'm confused about where it goes and stuff.

Hi, I am installing Oblivion GOTY Edition right now on my PC. I have it for my xbox 360 and have beat it, ect. What I'd like to know is what are the latest patches to get? Do people use an oblivion mod manager like in the Fallout Nexus? What are some requirements for downloading mods? How do you download mods for Oblivion? And stuff like that. Thanks. Roughnecks

Do you have FOMM? If so there should be a button saying Activate Invalidation, press that and activate it

i cant get on fallout because it froze the last time i played and the white box was the outline i guess from it and i cant play fallout Edit: the message is there too.

My game started to lag and soon it closed and a message came up saying: "Fallout 3 Has Stopped Working". Then it just froze. I can't click on anything and there a giant white box in the middle of the screen and the message. All i can do i turn off my computer and when i log back in to my account, there it is, just as i had left it with the message and stuff. Help!

i used to play fallout 3 for the xbox 360 and i have every achievement and have found every location so i didnt feel like doing it again but what ever lol
