I don't play with followers typically. That said I doubt your problem is a result of AFT, so leave that one alone until you've tinkered with the other two.
You contacted the author from the horse mod, but did you look into the mod that your follower is from, it.might just being missing some kind of ai package that tells it to ride a horse (that said I don't know I don't really play with followers as I said).

I tried AFT and the follower rides the horse pretty well.
But the horse script from AFT is different from Simple Horse SE.
I need abit of help to figure out how to extend the horse script from Simple Horse SE to Use the force skyrim.
Edit: Never mind it works now. Thanks to the mod author of Use the force skyrim's advice. Just turn off and on MCM.
I'm such an idiot. Problem solved.

I'm using Use the Force Skyrim for Special edition and I like to use the custom follower in it.

I am also using Simple Horses SE which allows followers to create their own horse (using a spell I presume) and mount it when I mount a horse.

However, the custom follower in Use the Force Skyrim mod doesn't do so.
I contacted Simple Horses SE mod author for advice and just got told " It is realized by using ranged spell (MagicEffect) which set condition to GetPlayerTeammate == 1." He says he's busy and can't help much.
I'm also using Amazing Followers's Tweak if that needs editing.

So Im asking you guys for help. I got the creation kit, I got the SSE Edit. But I don't know how to edit so the custom follower does the same thing.
Can anyone please help?

After I met Piper in Diamond City. I talked to her and she's available for recruiting. I tried to talk to Preston who is in my T-45 armor to remove it but all he gives is the damn "are we ready to take the castle yet" dialogue. So I hire, Piper send Preston back to Sanctuary. (He's now the worst character at the bottom of my list due to his annoying dialogue). Later I went sanctuary to try recruit him. He stripped down to his briefs. no idea where all my gear was. He CANNOT be recruited. All he gives is the annoying retake castle dialogue so I said yes. Did the retake castle quest. After retaking castle. he disappeared back to Sanctuary again. Stripped to his briefs and cannot be rehired back as a companion. All he give is random comments. No dialogue choices appeared.
Does anyone know how to fix him with and without Console.
And to the developers, what the hell do you mean when you said you were "going to fix the bugs so you delay the launch"?
Wild horses creation club issue - renaming horses
in Skyrim SE

I found the pale horse in windhelm. Brought it to the stable master Ulundil and clicked "I want to register and rename my horse." However I only get the system message "Horse has been renamed." but the name remains the same as wild horse. Is this a bug or glitch?
