About DarklitJupiter

  1. It may not be the best solution but it's a start, And some may view it as hypocritical but not in my eyes. Plus adblocker has options so that it can be enabled/disabled for certain sites, like I have it disabled here because the ads aren't that troublesome for me and they help the site out, where I have it enabled over at LL because I really don't enjoy looking at blowjobs when I'm trying to get help with a game or help someone else, thus disabling the ads for one site wouldn't be hypocritical  But like I said something has to be done about the relationship between the Nexus and LL, You guys are slowly loosing members, traffic isn't as high as it used to be and it's obvious. And with other modding sites popping up it's only going to get worse. Improving Community relations is something that's going to have happen sooner or later, Plus an action like this would easily boost the sites reputation because honestly from the things I've heard, things aren't going too well.
  2. I had a feeling this issue would come up, but honestly the solution is so simple and honestly I'm surprised most people don't already have this but just get adblocker, with adblocker you can go on the site without any of the pornographic ads cluttering your experience I know a lot of the people here have a distaste for the members and users over at LL but there are a lot of really kind and helpful people there who have assisted me and thousands of other people that couldn't get help elsewhere, In the end they play the same games we do and help people like we do, they shouldn't be shunned because of their advertisements, heck even this site depends on advertisements for revenue. Not to mention there are tons of mods here that could easily be classified as pornographic but are just fine (Sex Darkness, estrus, etc) In a way you can also incorporate this into your plans for redesigning the site, for example if someone posted a link to LL and someone clicked on it, they will be warned that the link that they are clicking leads to a site that has adult content unsuitable for under aged users and if they wish to proceed to the site, they would click yes, if not then they would click no. Honestly there are tons of ways this can be fixed, but if nothing is done then everybody looses, We should be improving community relationships not discouraging them, I really hope you can come up with a solution to end this strife between the communities :)
  3. According to the Terms of Service of Nexus Mods, Linking to Sites that contain Pirated content and do not adhere to copyright laws is prohibited: "As well as not linking to adult content or files you may not link to sites or files where you can download files that do not adhere to copyright laws. Examples include sites that include files with rips from other games and stolen work from other mod authors without the authors permission. Ignorance is not an excuse. Before you link to a site YOU should ensure that it is safe to link to. A simple search of the site should tell you very quickly whether its acceptable or not. You may link to individual pages that do not contain nudity, even if some other parts of the site your linking to contain nudity, so long as the page itself that's being linked contains NO nudity." LL, A site that, according to the general consensus, is listed as a Pirated Site and isn't allowed to be linked to or spoken about. However a quick look at Rule #3 on their site contradict this lie: "We may be an adult oriented community, but don't be stupid, don't post anything blatantly illegal. Meaning no discussion or assistance with illegal content such as piracy, game cracks, models or textures taken from the assets of other games, or any depictions of underage persons with exposed nudity or in a sexual context." Another rumor that I've heard is that linking or the discussion of LL is prohibited due to the adult sections of that site, however the paragraph above from The Nexus Mod's Terms of Service contradicts this as well. "You may link to individual pages that do not contain nudity, even if some other parts of the site you're linking to contain nudity, so long as the page itself that's being linked contains NO nudity." May an Administrator/Moderator give an opinion on this matter and hopefully see that this is fixed so that the clear childishness towards LL is ended? Also I would like to discuss this matter to great lengths if someone disagrees to what I have written, so please do not close this topic after giving your opinion.
  4. Stardel brings up a good point, plus you have to take in account what your going to do after you've "Liberated" Morrowind (+ Solstheim and Mournhold?) ...or in other words, what would you do next?
  5. I'm going to be honest, for the longest time I had custom music for Morrowind, but after a real long time you miss the Vanilla music...Maybe this doesn't apply to Oblivion but this is how I feel about Morrowind.
  6. I'd recommend the animated boat, Silt strider, and row boat mods. Adds a lot of realism and sight-seeing to the game, I love it. Also I'd recommend Antares' Big Mod, Read up on it here: http://arcimaestroantares.webs.com/antaresbigmod.htm it's an awesome mod. You should also look at the other mods on that site, you may be intrigued!
