    economy overhaul mod

    throwing this suggestion here because i have not found anything like this:

    would anyone with the know-how be interested to create a mod that overhauls the economy? by that i mean changing the prices of items to be more realistic, some items have weirdly low prices while others seem overpriced.

    a system of supply and demand that effects the prices of items would also be a good thing to add.

    Have you tried to start a completely new game, and use a console command (coc) to get to winterhold college? The problem may be actually be included (baked in to) your save game.

    i tried a new game, same thing happens same ctd. i get inside the college by skipping the dialog area with ancano, ran inside the college, tried to go out and ctd again.

     

    If the crash always occurs when Arcano shows up, that sounds like a very specific kind of problem. I can't say what it is, but I do have a couple suspects:

     

    The Thalmor are kind of touchy. Have you done something to make them an enemy faction? What race are you?

     

    Do you have followers present? It is a little-known fact that unowned followers in the College of Winterhold are treated as intruders. Maybe one of your follower mods affects their status? Try leaving the followers outside.

    i didn't do anything with the thalmor, i didn't even progress the main story questline beyond the "meet the greybeards"

    i do have USSEP

     

    Missing master files for patches, like zMirai, could cause CTD. Do you use LOOT to sort your load order? I think that you can get a complete LO from it. It's been several years since I used NMM, but I think that I am correct. Loot can also give some warnings when things are missing/not needed. If you don't have USSEP installed in a modded game, or even the base game, you are asking for trouble, since it was made to squash bugs/ctd.

    What do you use as a mod manager? Your load order doesn't look complete, no USSEP, and you show a Mirai patch for GT of Ivarstead, but no zMirai.esp, and the game master files are not showing...

    i use the NMM, i just didn't copy the whole list. and no i dont have Mirai, but somehow ended up having that patch there.

    i have the master files, but just copied the list where the mods appear.

    college of winterhold ctd

    Have you verified your game files in Steam? Might be corrupted files. Also, try to load a much earlier save, and fast travel to Winterhold, and see if you still have a CTD.

    i played on a new save with all mods disabled, it worked with no CTD. i reinstalled all mods again and the CTD and those weird textures issues happen again.

    the college of winterhold and volkihar are the only locations where this happens.

    i have constant ctd in the college of winterhold just where there is a conversation with Mirabelle Ervine and that thalmor guy

    i can't do anything in the college of winterhold because of the ctd

    i do not have any mods that change or affect the college of winterhold in any way

    also there is a weird texture glitch with everything flickering

    if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated, i have tried many ways to fix this myself but i have exhausted all possible options i could try

    Try removing the mod and report back what happens. (Not to mention that telling us which mods they were might help in troubleshooting.)

    i deleted the mods and reinstalled everything afterwards to be clean/vanilla, everything is still slow.

    I got the Trespasser DLC installed and it began to cause lag and low fps everywhere and the game became unplayable. This has never happened before and i am not sure why this is happening, i tried to fix this and i was unable to, i just do not know how to fix this. Dragon Age: Inquisition runs absolutely smooth (and with high settings) before i installed Trespasser. I have only two mods that only change the faces of two characters, i am not sure if the lag and low fps is caused by the mods (could they be incompatible with the DLC?) can anyone help me? anyone else encountered a similar problem?

    Weapons that have bayonets should have their own proper melee finisher kill animation

    My favorite is obviously Piper, followed by Cait and Curie (no particular order, this is my main trio, also they great romance candidates). Piper instantly became my favorite because of her design, character and personality. Cait, i like her attitude and character and it only got better after her quest, her lockpicking skill always makes her very useful to have around, and she is Irish and i just like the accent. Curie is just really cute and she gives Stimpaks so that is always welcome, and she also has a French accent which is cool.

     

    My secondary trio of favorite companions is Dogmeat, Codsworth and Nick Valentine. Dogmeat is a dog and i like dogs. Codsworth is the only one left from the Sole Survivor's family, Codsworth is just a great buddy butler. Nick Valentine's overall character and attitude is one that i like, and he can hack terminals and that skill always makes him useful to have around.

     

    I really think this time the companion characters are great, they are more interesting and more memorable. In Fallout 3 the only companion i can remember is Fawkes.
