  1. Same here. This is rather unfortunate; hopefully they can fix it soon!
  2. Bumping again, as the problem has been recurring and I can't figure out a way to solve this myself.
  3. Bumping this, as I've been having the same problem (in both FO3 and FONV, funnily enough). Will re-examine my load order and see if I can pick out the culprit; anybody run into something similar? The weird thing is, it only started happening recently (i.e. I've been through Hidden Valley like a dozen times and the paladins all have weapons, I go through now and they have nothing). Checking their inventory with the console reveals that they still have the weapon, and the game thinks it is equipped, but nothing is there. If I delete and re-add the weapon with the console, they then draw it again; it's the weirdest thing. EDIT: I've BOSS'd and Merged Patch'd my load order, and the problem remains. As described, a quicksave/quickload fixes the problem in the immediate area, but still....weird. Any ideas?
  4. Bumping this because I've been having the exact same problem. I have an ATI Radeon Moblility 57xx as well, and mine suddenly started blurring and washing out textures about twenty-four hours ago. I updated my drivers from 11.2 to 11.6, but the problem persists. Any advice? I may try rolling back my drivers to an earlier version, but the problem persisted under both versions; should I roll back to an earlier model?
  5. If you're looking for ideas, I'm always happy to come up with something. I read a pretty decent amount of sci-fi/fantasy and like to think of myself as fairly coherent, well-spoken, and able to come up with some decent suggestions, and I'd be more than happy to bounce some ideas off of you as needed.
  6. They're a little soft compared to the other NPC voices, so I've been amplifying them, but I just want to make sure I don't do it too much. davidlallen, do you use Audacity? I can't find that command.
  7. So I'm currently implementing some voice acting MP3s into my mod. I'm editing and amplifying them in Audacity, and was wondering if there's a baseline volume (decibels, Hz, whatever it's measured in) recommend for spoken lines? Any info on this would be great, thanks! :)
  8. Some of the normal NPCs have this problem, Cass has wrist gaps on her default outfit for me. Could be an engine thing. Oh Gamebryo.
  9. Hmmm, one question; I've set up a variable to keep the conversation from repeating, and it works, except after exiting dialogue for the first time he will engage the player in his primary dialogue options once.
  10. Ah, I thought you had to make an AI package for that (damn you GECK wiki!) That makes a lot of sense, I can do that. Thanks for the help! :) EDIT: Worked like a charm! Thank you! :)
  11. My custom companion mod is nearing completion, and I'm trying to add the finishing touches at the moment to get it ready for initial release. One problem I've been having is how to get the NPC to force greet the player and initiate a conversation. The NPC's an Enclave companion, and I don't want him to equip his power armor until the player is level 20 for balance reasons. I want him to initiate a conversation regarding this so he doesn't just switch to randomly wearing power armor, which I could do with a trigger. I've tried copying Veronica's ForceGreet AI package and changing the conditions to suit my needs, but it doesn't seem to fit. What do I need to do to get my NPC companion to initiate a conversation with the player once hired and the player has reached Level 20?
  12. I make it myself, no worries! All people do is PM me links to mods, I check it out, DL 'em, and film them in the episode if I like them. I've already got DwR downloaded, and it's a good quest mod, so I'll probably feature it this week. :) Like I said, I'm about due for some quest mods. You don't have to worry about spoilers, all I do is simply say a bit about it and show a bit of how it works, so all I'd be doing is showing off the area, the start of the quest and the (really good) voice acting. Sorry for the confusion with my sig, I've edited it so as to make it a bit clearer what I do.
  13. Ohhh, that's the Decisions with Regrets guy? I've been thinking of doing that, actually! Saw AIChestBreach's playthrough and it looked quite good; the voice acting was also very impressive (although unfortunately the playthrough has Mark's staticy old voice instead of the great new one, you might want to Youtube PM him about that). I'm about due for some quest mods, so you've got pretty good odds at getting on in the next week or two. :)
  14. If you're looking to get your mod known more, look no further! I have a subscriber base of 7k+ on Youtube (pretty much exclusively for Fallout stuff) and do a weekly mod special, as well as videos dedicated to single mods from time to time. Send me your mod, and it might get on! All you gotta do is shoot me the link. :)
