  1. I don't think that was the case as it was a .fomod install so the masters were int he load order
  2. In your opinion what do you think are the best house mods for the game? I can't remember the name but I like the one that adds a house underground in springvale.
  3. I'm running FWE,MMM,EVE etc and a bunch of other mods. I'm looking for a night vision mod that will not break my game. I tried advanced recon armor with darnified ui texture icons but my game would always crash before it even got to the main menu. Preferably a mod with just the.goggles. Thanks
  4. Looks interesting but I noticed it seemed to lag a bit or at least the video did. Was the video recording program causing the lag or the mod? Are you making unique locations that look Doctor Who ish for the mod? I'm definitely interested but don't feel rushed by the other doctor who mod and take your time, yours is unique with the dalek invasion setting.
  5. I have FWE, MMM etc installed but never went for WMK is it worth it? Can you upgrade parts of the gun to produce more damage output?
  6. RTS is loaded before MMM so that MMM works fine and doesn't cause it to crash.
  7. Thanks very much for the quest's I will look into those. The only reason I havn't installed fellout is because I would need some nightvision goggles to go out and hunt at night I assume? Also i'm not sure if it would conflict with FWE.

I have looked through the list of top 100 mods but nothing seems too appealing as the stuff I already have. Mostly looking for new good quest chains / content or unheard of mods. So far I have:
  9. Since the posting of this i created a merged patch and can seem to play fine but it will randomly freeze every now and then... I have no idea why. Could anyone please look at my load order and tell me if that could be the problem.

  11. I've not seen this before, but I'm pretty sure the Fallout 3.esm should be loaded before the Anchorage.esm. I'm assuming you are using the Fallout Mod Manager, so check the box for the Fallout 3.esm while your at it. ESMs should be grouped at the beginning of your load order; you have the Enhanced Weather and Dynamic Weather ESMs down in your ESPs section. Given how few mods you are using, a merged patch may not strictly be required, but I have to recommend it anyway. Once your load order is solid, it takes just a few minutes tops to generate a merged patch. Load up the mods you use in FO3Edit. Right-click one of them in the tree in the left pane. Select "Create Merged Patch". Give it a file name of your choosing, when it asks. Your merged patch will appear at the bottom of your load order in the tree. Close FO3Edit; make sure you save the changes to the patch you created, when it asks. Mark your merged patch to be loaded last in your order. That's all. That said, have you already ruled out performance- or machine-related crashes? I was getting occasional crashes when using Enhanced Weather, what I figured were performance-related crashes. My machine is pretty out-dated at this point. However, someone else in a recent thread here said he/she was getting crashes specifically from the 'Weather Sounds in Interiors' plugin for Enhanced Weather. Unfortunately, I never tried removing that plugin, so I don't know if that would have helped me. If the minor tweaks to your load order and creation of a merged patch don't alleviate your crashes, you might try removing that plugin. Okay I will try what you have said but I read that all weather mods should be loaded last after FWE and other mods as it causes issues so I don't know if I should move the .esms up to the top of the list?
  12. Every now and then the game will freeze up or just crash to the desktop and I think it might be an issue with my load order. Also the reason I have both weather mods installed is that in the readme for Xephys rain mod for it to actually rain you need the other rain and snow mod installed. (I also have no merged patch made - is this needed 100%?)   13. I have played Fallout 3 extensively on my 360 and have modded a bit with oblivion on the PC and know my way around for the most part. Just picked up F3: GOTY for the PC as I heard the mod community is superb for this game and it really makes a difference playing through again. What I am looking for are mods that add realism - not too hard but realism like food and drink which I know already exists as a mod for this game. I heard fellout is good for darker environments but does it get to the point where its impossible to go out at night for a midnight scavenge? As well as the realism are there any mods that add more quest / content that is decent? Installation is not the issue for me its the load order as I have no clue which mods will conflict with one another etc and if I have to do anything specific to get them to work together. I also have heard you need to create a merge file or something if you have the DLC installed? I have no clue what that is could anyone help me out with that as well? I thank you for your time in advance and apologize if these have been asked before - it's just stressful when you see all these great mods and its hard to get them to all work together. Thanks!
