  1. Hey fellas, I've been looking for a New vegas 10mm SMG with butt stock mod for a while and I could only find a mesh and a wooden butt stock mod for FO3. There's one for a tactical 10mm SMG with a folding stock, but I didn't care for the other bells and whistles the modder added to the gun. I was wondering of someone could make a butt stock mod for the 10mm SMG in New vegas. I think either a folding one or a wooden one from the assault rifle would look cool. I realize it takes spare time and I would appreciate it if someone made this mod. (I think a lot of others would too, the one-handed vanilla smg is stupid). Thanks.
  2. Hey, Someone posted about this a few years back with no answer. The bullet point of impact for all automatic weapons is too high when using iron sights. Which is a shame, because some of the iron sight models are pretty cool, but they are useless. Whether Bethesda intended everyone to play the game in VATS and have the iron sight feature just to "look cool" (typical gaming reason), or if they were too busy creating all the retarded Toys R Us laser guns and forgot to polish the more critical gameplay aspects, I don't know. But what I do know is that every automatic weapon in the game, either vanilla or mod, fires way over the iron sight post. It's actually a pretty f***ing irritating flaw because it's so utterly basic and it really ruins the iron sight feature in this game. You would think the developers would have noticed and fixed it long before releasing the game. I have downloaded mod after mod hoping to find an automatic weapon that carries to the sights, but have found none. The sights are centered on-screen, so it is not a matter of adjusting where the sights are, it's a matter of adjusting where the projectiles go. Hopefully someone has shared my frustration in this regard and has figured out a way to fix this problem. If you are that person, I would personally appreciate a brief how-to. I have Nifskope and GECK standing by, I merely await further instructions. Thanks in advance.
  3. Hello everyone, I am a noob, straight up. A noob to games and a noob to computer troubleshooting. I'm going to start this by saying that I have read dozens and dozens of pages on various forums about this problem. I have done research on this until my eyes got achy and watery. A few people seem have this problem, but in literally HOURS of research, I have found only vague, indirect advice. Perhaps the nature of this problem can only warrant vague advice. I just finished installing Oblivion on Vista, and started to get really, really excited. I've been wanting to play this game ever since it came out, four years ago. When I click 'new game' it goes to a box saying "Start a new game?" I click "yes" and.... NOTHING HAPPENS! It just goes back to the menu as if I clicked "no." All the other menu options work except this one!! In my research I came across some vague solutions, like 'turn off Aero' or 'run in XP compatibilty mode,' all of it mystifies me! I tried running OLDblivion, thinking perhaps my graphics card wasn't up to snuff (intel chipset 4) but the same thing happens. It won't let me start a new game. I uninstalled and re-installed. Same problem. After 20 minutes of running patch 1.2, I tried again. It won't let me start a new game. Downloaded a saved game, from the end of the sewers, and the game crashes when I try to load it. Does anyone out there know of this problem? Can anyone help please??? Here are my system specs for reference: Toshiba Satellite L305 Pentium Dual core CPU T4200 @ 2.00 ghz 3 gb ram Vista 32 bit Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset family Thank you for reading, but no words of mine would be able to express the gratitude and appreciation if someone helped me resolve this problem.
